How do you get shut out at home in an outdoor game? I mean who does that?

I was there, and I thought about that when Boston was down 3-0. Oh, well, at least the home town got to cheer a goal. The Kings denied me even that two years ago.

Snoozefest game. One team showed up.

Can't wait for next year's Winter Classic when it's Toronto vs Rangers, and the year after when it's Pittsburg vs Detroit, and then Philly vs Washington, and then...

Florida vs. Tampa on an oil tanker in the Bermuda Triangle.

Except by points percentage, the only true measure when games played are different, we would get Chicago. Minn has 3-4 games in hand on every team in front of them and need less than a .500 to catch all but Dallas.

Look at the trends.

1. Chicago is winning, and keeping pace with the Kings. They are definitely going to end up in the top three of the Central and we are most definitely not going to meet them in the first round.

2. "Games in hand" are overrated, and most certainly in the case of Minnesota. That team is pretty erratic and before winning their last two games were just .500 in their past 8. I expect the team to stay out of the top 3 and in the wild card race, which means the Kings are likely to start against them or Nashville in the first round.

I'd say the Avs would be the dark horse in the Wild Card spot too, but they're gonna have to start winning games at home to have a legit shot.

Looking at the standings, if the coyotes and sharks lose tomorrow and calgary wins plus if the ducks beat the canucks in OT tonight...

Then 5 teams will be within 1 point of 2nd place. Wow.

Watching this game is excruciating. Both of these teams apparently partied hard last night; this isn't hockey it's just brutal to watch.

Kesler scoring in VAN and holding his arms up for an extended time is just beautiful.

He is really a *****. But gotta love the ironies of this game.

Is that guy for real?

"I've scored a lot of goals in this building, but that one was my favorite."

Unbelievable. What a total ass hole.

Not an Olympic goal. Not a Stanley Cup Final goal. Not even a playoff goal. He'll never win anything of substance.

Kesler imitates Stoll and takes a bad late 3rd period penalty and puts the crowd into a collective orgasm. This game is entertaining on a number of level, but "good hockey" it sure ain't.

Scoring here would be so hilarious... If only Van could buy a PP goal.

I guess I hate the Ducks + Kesler more then Van?
