Blind zebras just stole an empty net goal from the Bruins with the hand-pass call and a few seconds later the Flyers tied the game. Hand pass never happened! I hate this league, that's laughable and frustrating at the same time. Doesn't matter what actually happens on the ice, what zebras see is all what matters.

Didn't see it, not shocked. Is there a more dangerous team to have a 1 goal lead (or 2) in the closing minutes? The Flyers do this too often for it to be luck.

Yeah, I don't know how they called that a hand pass, it may have glanced off his glove initially but he CLEARLY kicked the puck forward.

Either of those teams will kick our ass in the playoffs. Plain and simple.

Mason really screwed us today with some fantastic saves. The kid is gonna be all right, imo.

Watching the offenses for both teams here are major differences I see from the Jackets:

When they get the puck low they don't keep it there forever; their first thought is to get it to someone who is in position to shoot-this is often helped by guys actually getting into position instead of passing around the boards till they lose it.

They also initiate their offense many times from in front of the net. Wow.

They are not tentative on offense; they shoot quickly and pass quickly too.

They crash the net.

Guys work to get into position for rebounds or open shots-things I don't see consistently from the Jackets.

I think coaching has to have something to do with Jacket ineptitude on offense. Please spare me the details of how we were once 6th or 8th or whatever in goals for; miracles happen. We lack a good offensive system.

I think I'd rather play Pittsburgh due to their goaltending, injury proneness (is that a word?) and their being less physical. Also shorter travel. I don't see us beating them but I think we have a better chance - slim - than against the Bruins - none.

Yes, I'd rather have the Pens than the Bruins. We would probably get out-gunned but we'd have a shot if we play physical and get inside Fleury's head.

My order of preference would be:

1) Rangers
2) Flyers
3) Pens
4) Bruins

We still got some work to do before we get there though.
