Who do we cheer for in the Toronto Detroit game?

With Toronto struggling and with the least amount games, do we cheer for Detroit? The sooner Toronto is out of the picture, the better.

Or because Toronto is struggling and Detroit keeps winning(even though they're in a 2 game losing streak), do we want Toronto to win so Columbus can try to distance themselves/stay the same with Detroit. If Columbus loses tonight and Toronto wins, they go up 2 points but they still have games in hand to pull even and jump ahead.

I say, hope for a Toronto win in regulation. I'm more concerned with Detroit then Toronto

Barca won, Chelsea/Caps lost, my dog did well in surgery and I have a great feeling about us tonight...

I agree. The Leafs have 6 games remaining after tonight, Wings have 9. Detroit is definitely our biggest threat.

Caps get life. Score a lame goal with 10 seconds left in the period.

If the Caps tie it up, the turning point could be when Reilly Smith was robbed from Holtby. Would have made it 4-0.

I sort of feel like Detroit is not a concern right now. CBJ hold the tie breaker so they just don't need to let Detroit win more games than then from here on out. However, I feel like Toronto losing again tonight to Detroit basically makes it a 3 team race instead of 4.

A CBJ win and a DET win, CBJ still in 7th.
A CBJ win and a TOR win, CBJ still in 7th but TOR is still hanging around in the wildcard race.

I personally would rather we just get TOR out of this race race now and make it a 3 horse race for 2 spots.

Seen on the mains, in re: New Jersey's issues with shootouts (0-10 record, 1-30 on all attempts):

"We don't practice the shootout. If I thought that was the answer, I would do it ... every day," DeBoer answered.

The coach followed with a question of his own.

"Who does that every day in practice? Pittsburgh?"

Yes.

"They do? Really? Are you sure about that?"

Just to be 1,000 percent certain, a Penguins beat writer was contacted after DeBoer spoke. Josh Yohe of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review was asked in a Twitter direct message if the Penguins work on it EVERY DAY, and his response was, “Oh yeah. It's how they finish every practice. Not in morning skates. But every other day.”

"If I had Sidney Crosby, maybe we’d do it every day at practice, too,” DeBoer said.

Does anyone else, reading that, get a sudden flashback to Lori Schmidt asking Arniel about 4-on-4 hockey?

Flyers lead 2-1 over the Bruins at the 1st intermission.
The Flyers are so damn annoying, even with the toughest schedule in the remaining season they find ways to win. Words cannot describe how frustrated they have made me time after time this season.

I hope the Bruins lay the beatdown oh the Flyers in the 2nd and 3rd and win this in REGULATION. Please don't allow the Flyers any loser points, Boston.
