I think both teams did good in the trade with an edge to St L because I really think they got the best of it for the short term.
The Jackets situation is much different than either of those teams. Close to the playoffs but not, imo, a serious contender for a deep run. Therefore, I don't see them being willing to give up a kings ransom for a rental or two. On the other hand, if Jarmo & JD don't see the long term stardom for all of our players like some of us do, they could try for another Gabby like acquisition - someone with a bit of term.
My guess is that our dealings will be small scale if at all.
I'm probably in a minority but these stadium games are a bit ridiculous, especially at night in the middle of a mid-western city not exactly known for nice early March evenings.

Sabres apparently going to have a 2nd Front Office Shakeup of the season according to Twitter.

While its a cool gimic, the outdoor games need to be an exhibition, not a regular season game that points could actually mean something. I'd hate to miss the playoffs by 1 point and have lost in a game like tonight where the conditions are not good for a regulation game
I too am wondering if this St. Louis / Buffalo trade really made the Blues better. Going to have to wait and see.
Think it all depends on Miller...he gives them a a chance to have higher ceiling, if.........
...they can score a single goal in foreseeable future.
They're scoreless in 2 games after the break.
The wind in windy city is just crazy,
The ice has covered the streets and cars,
United Center seems so nice and cozy.
Whitman? No, probably Frost.
