Can't recall that, source?
The management and players. Karlsson said he didn't know when he would be back, if at all this season. The next day he returned and played against the Capitals.

The players and the organization has been super secretive that whatever they say gives little indication about what's true.

Jared Cowen, for one: (March 4)

...but the plan remains for him to sit out the entire season following his hip surgery in November.

Erik Karlsson:

Brian Murray -
"It was a clean cut and recovery is expected to be 100 percent," Murray said. "But it does mean his year finishes at this time."

My point exactly. I consider the Senators my "other" favorite team in the NHL - and thus, follow them very closely.

Yeah I remembered that on Karlsson and I remembered that was said on Cowen in November when he had surgery/injury came out.

Did we watch the same game? I thought he was good. He was flying over the ice, saw him go down at least 3 or 4 times in front of the net and he had a bunch of shots.

I thought the same thing. I admit to being a fan of his, but I do recognize the criticism and today it would be unwarranted, IMO. If anything, he was carrying the Caps.

I hate the Wings enough to feel bad about them winning the series either way (especially knowing how much better the Jackets are), but will this potentially help our Kings' pick?

Only if the Sharks knock out the Kings and Wings advance. Gotta hope the Sharks don't pull their annual SC el foldo.

Don't care about the pick, only care that the effing Wings and Kings lose.

Sharks were the only team in the West I had any positive feeling for, and the Hawks, well, I don't outright hate them I guess. So I guess my rooting interests are cut and dried. In the East, there will only be one team I hate in the second round, but there is guaranteed to be one for sure.

That said -- tonight, go Caps and Leafs.

The Pens probably will....But it'll be to late for our draft pick. Really sucks lol.

Ditto Kings...They'll win one more round and get wiped out by the Hawks.

I really don't see the Pens stopping them, the only tram who MIGHt have a chance is Ottawa, but IDK.

As for LA. If they get by San Jose I think they will beat Chicago, they match up so well against them. Bigger, not as talented or as deep, but far more physical and way better goaltending. That one can go 7.

I still forsee a LA-NYR finals, with NYR coming out on top.

Caps have turned to crap so I'm not passing any judgment yet.

Bruins again finishing the game by applying serious pressure and Leafs trying to hang on.

EDIT
Leafs fail.
