Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

It's the opposite here in Florida - when they launch from Kennedy before dawn you'll get the same effect. And they have launches nearly every week here now; it's weird and very cool at the same time, hardly anyone bats an eye.

Horrific. Tragic. Prayers for the families.

I hope that “article” was written by AI. Who describes a double homicide as “passing away”? The entire “article” was the most bizarre and insensitive and confusing way I’ve ever heard something like this described.
100%...not to mention the shitty photograph accompanying the article.

I agree. After posting the article I clicked on the link to make sure it was working and that's when I noticed the tasteless pic they used. Overlooked it like it was some advertising the first time I read the article, just scrolled past it to the main story.

I was so caught up in the tragedy that I didn't even notice how the article seems thrown together so strangely, but something did make me look up other sources on the story, so I guess subconsciously I sensed something was off, even though I missed the obvious lol.

But yeah, now that you mention it, definitely reads like AI.

Tried to stop a shoplifter at Circle K. The clerk gave zero point zero craps. She was completely disinterested. Cannot say I blame her. Circle K's are always understaffed and they are a beacon for the lowest of the low. Ah, well. I tried.

Was he stealing an unusually large amount of Huggies?

Edit: is that any funnier if I say i just realized I'm wearing an "Unpainted Arizona" shirt?

Most retail places actively dissuade clerks and cashiers from pursuing shoplifters due to the corporate liability they could face if the employee is injured or killed by the shoplifter. They reason - correctly - that replacing the inventory is much cheaper than a lawsuit or paying medical bills.

I understand why but it still speaks volumes of where we are at as a society and the condition of this abysmal Circle K store. But I can walk there and Monster Pacific Punch is Buy 2 Get 1 Free so I deal with the scum. There are moments when I understand Travis Bickle and it's 50/50 between Circle K and Walmart when it resonates most.

In this case I would start yodeling.

Employees are most likely not allowed to do anything about shoplifting, that’s common in retail.
