DUBAS DOES NOT GIVE A SINGLE SOLITARY f***
Timmins is 6'2 .. not exactly small
You called Timmins earlier today - nice
We're signing plugs like NAK because they hit and giving away a man mountain who would actually give us some balls up front for trash. A player who is 1 injury from retiring and is likely on waivers in a month
So last time we moved a big forward who "couldn't skate" it ended up being Mason Marchment.
I remember reading all the comments on here about how Marchment wasn't going to take the next step....lol and now we're trying to play Malgin in a bottom 6 role.
Douglas has struggled this season in the A. But we have no patience for these big guys who bring an element the leafs sorely need.
Dubas is a f***ing moron.
I don't feel bad about this trade then. I don't care if he's 7'5 if he plays like a p***yDouglas has not been good on the Marlies. He's like another Freddie the Goat - big but not physical or mean.
NAK was a depth forward. Not sure what thats got anything to do with this.
Agree with point except word good. He has no future with Arizona...just sayin.Douglas has been really bad this year with the Marlies and I guess they needed a good RHD bet. That's my take.
Curious to know who are the other 9.There are 20 former Soo Greyhounds in the NHL, Dubas has acquired 11 of them.
Because we just traded a depth forward who brings size and physicality and if they suck, at least they would actually bring value.
To make this trade worse, Arizona wanted to waive him but we didn't have a contract spot so had to make a trade to get him. FML
Size means nothing if you can't play very well, and Douglas has shown that.Because we just traded a depth forward who brings size and physicality and if they suck, at least they would actually bring value.

Arizona only wanted to waive him because he wasn't getting minutes on the team, and wanted to send him down to get more mins in the AHL. It wasn't performance.
If we are getting angry even over a trade like this, than this fanbase has issues
You realize you are in the process of having a meltdown over us trading an even bigger unknown for Timmins right?Cool an opening tanking team wanted to waive a dman who wasn't good enough to play for them, has crazy injury history and is a complete unknown.
Dubas says "that's exactly what my contending team needs!"
"High reward"Good trade. Douglas has been terrible this year and even been healthy scratched. Timmins is low risk high reward. I'm happy
