I meant the whole commtion about him being picked up by the yotes.

But yeah he was pretty good during the olympic tournament.
We will see if he plays for the yotes this year.

Säteri is in top goalie years, he was more often than not a 92%+ goalie in top European leagues for average teams for years now, he was selected for a national team basically every year and with 94%. Incredible in the playoffs.

Källgren played 3 good games in the NHL, but other than that numbers were lower (90% in the AHL this season) and he didn't even get to the NT. He might turn out fine, but he's still a rookie that first has to prove he's better than Säteri, not the other way around.

Wouldnt happen with Lou in charge. Dubas a laughingstock....
what a player being claimed from the Leafs?
who a GM has nothing to do with that
if a team needs a player then one is waived
that player will get claimed no matter who is the GM
just seems like your trying really hard to find new reasons to hate Dubas
just being upset over this is silly

Exactly. Arizona fixed challenge with starter G for next 3-4 season.

He had a great stats with far long outsider Vityaz in KHL, one of the garbedgest team there. His over 94% with Finland during years it's not surprise at all keeping in mind Finland the style of play for years under their head coach and favourite status.
But he's a definitely a top goalie. I'm so glad for Coyotes and this fast BA outstanding move.

HARD to understand putting him on waivers.
Dubas is on fire)) well done Mr.

Nabokov was at least a former starting goalie; Sateri isn't a starting goalie-caliber.
Which is why nabokov refused to play when he didnt go to city he wanted knowing he could get a contract whenever he wanted. Sateri doesnt have that luxury so he will try to do his best for Arizona to try and prove he deserves an nhl contract next year

However, won't Kallgren play better than Sateri? I don't understand why Toronto needs to acquire him.
I think they will go all in on campbell for the playogfs when he comes back but they wanted to shelter kallgren and splitnthe starts til then and they basically wanted anyone not named mrazek to do so as they are done with mrazek.

Lots of people laughing at the Leafs fans crying about ARI grabbing him but could you imagine if ARI did it if Boston had signed David Krejci?

There were according to Friedman like 4 or 5 waiver claims for Sateri.

Stop whining that's the only reason this thread keeps going.

The funny thing here is Toronto or Florida would have claimed KrejcI. Only to prevent Boston from getting him for the playoffs.

That would be a far bigger ****storm then Arizona claiming a minimum salary backup goaltender.

 Which part? That Lou would make life miserable for the GM that claimed him, or that Dubas has no respect in GM circles? Both.
I'm not a huge fan of many of the moves that Dubas makes, but why do you believe he isn't respected by his peers? I know a couple of guys who have played in the NHL and apparently he's quite well respected - especially by the guys who play for him. I know that's not GM circles, but I've never heard that he's not respected.

Lou has lost players on waivers, what makes you think he wouldn’t have lost a goalie 750k in a market absolutely starved for goalies?

What would Lou do to exactly? Nothing.

I don't like the Leafs, but this is bs. They should close this loophole. Call it a re-entry waiver
It’s not a loophole. There’s a legit reason for this rule and there would be for more issues if it wasn’t in place.
