Sooner he goes pro, sooner he can get the hell out of there.

(Unless he wanted to do it the long way and play thru another 3 years of college)
It doesn't matter what the positives are concerning the Coyote's, there are still jerks on these forums that love to spout off and try to put a negative spin on it.

Applies to every player.

But in Bedards case his team isn't at risk of being relocated and he actually gets to play in an NHL arena instead of a 5000 seat college barn.
Like I said.

Hard to believe that if there was any uncertainty to take away, it wouldn't be public. The situation is so dire that any positive news would be shared with the public immediately - as it should be.

People are going to believe what they want to.

Cooley’s done a couple of interviews since the signing and was asked about what was going through his mind from the arena vote up until deciding to turn pro.

The biggest factor in his decision was the off season moves to team made and getting to Arizona and seeing the situation in person rather than all the outside stories.

It was more an uncertainty as to where the franchise was headed and if the arena vote was going to affect it. I wouldn’t blame him at all for thinking that.

After the off season moves the team made and he got into dev camp he was able to see that the team may have accelerated things a little and it took that uncertainty away.
At the time the first initial reports came out, a lot of people dismissed the team situation entirely. Saying a prospect of his caliber wouldn’t stay an extra year just to avoid a bad situation. I think it actually turned out to be true is my point.

Initially a lot of Yotes fans felt Cooley going back to Minnesota and avoiding the off ice noise was probably the best thing for him.

None of us were expecting the deals Bill Armstrong made this off season.

Keller? You talking about that fake tweet? Keller already called it out. He said he likes the organization and the staff and wants to be a Coyote.
idk, I don't follow every minute of 'yotes news. You may have noticed the date range I provided on my status as a Coyotes fan.

Last I heard he was holding out. If that's been proven to be untrue or no longer true, that's great news.

This is great for the Yotes. League has bungled the oversight of this franchise. Nice for the fans to have what looks like a 1C coming in and something to generate positive press.

Yes. it's strictly the league's fault.

hmmm i think that is a reference to the Mullet Arena and the fact that it is possible that the top NCAA teams can take the Coyotes.
So can middling Junior A teams beat the Blackhawks? What about the 4 other teams who were worse than the Coyotes this season?

Go easy on us, we're not all lucky enough to live in Chicago. Some of us were born in the Southwest after our parents and grandparents got the hell out of places like Chicago. Fingers crossed that Bedard makes it through his teenage years without doing any dryland training with the video coach.

Am I the only one who would love to see a line of...

Keller - Cooley - Guenther

... by midseason?
Why? Putting Cooley between Keller and Schmaltz would hurt the other lines more than help that line. No reason to replace Hayton with Cooley. I rather see if Crouse can have chemistry with Cooley and Maccelli with Zucker.
