Despite Tre, I believe we are a wagon. We are gonna ride roughshod over this league. All we have to do is protect ourselves from saddle sores.

No

We have played well lately IMO, and we are trending in the right direction, but we are far from a wagon.

Wagons win game with ease. We have only won maybe 2-3 games with ease all season.

We've dealt with a decent amount of injuries, most notably to our back end. So to be where we are at in the standings in spite of all that is impressive. But nothing to puff our chest out at IMO. Winning in spite of injury has never been something this team has struggled with oddly. We actually tend to play better IMO weirdly. I have no statistical data to support that, but it just feels like this team gets back tot he basics when missing key players. What a concept right?

I am happy with the results, but at the end of the day this team has not even come close to playing to their full potential IMO. This is not me being pessimistic, I would be shocked if they consider themselves a wagon either or feel as though they are playing to their full potential.

Lots of positives though. Winning in spite of injury and while playing your B-game is what all great teams do.

Dubas built this team.
Did he though?

To be honest, this is why I said a couple of years ago we should've let Kyle go - everyone would've been happy. You'd have Dubas fans telling everyone it is his team so they'll be happy. And then you'd have Leafs fans being able to see success finally so they'd be happy. It's a win-win for both groups.

1/3 of the season gone, Vegas, Bruins, Kings, and Rangers with better record than ours, none of which seem unbeatable. We are in a good place.

Wagon for sure. There's folks who jump on and off between goals never mind seasons. The best is always the one after the opposition scores early in the game and some people go straight into Dangle over reaction proclaiming a sure fire loss by an incompetent, heartless, overpaid bunch of cry babies coached by a mouth breathing ignoranamous who isn't qualified to coach a bunch of Sunday night beer leaguers.

Exactly why I avoid the game threads, bad enough to see the flip flopping between games let alone between shifts. If Leaf Nation went to a psychiatrist the diagnosis would definitely be bi polar……..

I think this applies to a lot of sports fans in big markets not just in the NHL but across the world.

Yes. When we were meh we were the worst team in the world. Logically, we are now the best.
