Speculation: Are Matthews and Marner Choke Artists in Playoffs?

Very disappointing with Matthews so far this series. This is par for the course with Marner, although I have liked his PK abilities. Marner is a soft winger with minimal goal scoring attributes, his price tag confuse people into thinking he can elevate his game in the playoffs. Take away space in the middle of the ice and his offensive effectiveness is eliminated.
 
This is where coaching steps in. Keefe is being outcoached and Matthews and Marner are playing Keefes game. He needs to adjust, the boys will be fine.
 
They absolutely are. These guys get paid at the tippy top of the league and have done Jack all in this series. If they can’t wreak havoc against Montreal what the f*** are they going to do against a team like Colorado or Tampa.

It's "the RULE" because it typically reflects reality, Matthews is having a bad series he was our best player by far in the last two, this is the third straight playoff of Marner offering next to nothing. So is Marner a choker? It seems likely. Is Matthews? Jury is still out.

Regardless gross series from both, also chuck Hyman in the playoff choker category as well, he's supposed to be a bonafide top 6 winger now looking for a big contract and he's absolutely useless in the playoffs.
 
This organization does not deserve the massive fan base that it has.

I don't think Marner is a choker. He just doesn't have a shot and Montreal is taking away the pass and forcing him to shoot.
 
If they lose game 7, yes they are.

Dubas biggest mistake was paying them big contract. They don’t look as hungry as they were in the Washington and Boston series.

A commentator on TV just said Marner hasn't scored a playoff goal in 16 straight games. Is this really correct?
 
Matthews gets a pass from me. Dude may be a choker but he has the 2nd best talent in the league.

Marner can f*** off, was never worth that contract. Dubas needs to go with him.
