Soon, he won't have to fight anymore, everybody will be scared to fight him lol.
Guys like Lucic, Gudbransson, Reaves, MacDermid, Wilson and Johnston will tune him out. Better let Anderson and Edmundson do the heavy fighting for a couple of years while he gets stronger and more experienced.

Massicotte was punching while afraid. There was nothing in those punches. He looked scared the entire fight.
I don't blame him. I'd have a load in my pants if I had to take him on lol If I'm in that situation, I'm fighting for my life. Scared or not, I'm hitting him with everything I have. Massicotte is a pretty big guy. I'm sure he wasn't throwing lolly pops at Xhekaj.

He put 3 Sens out of the game today and for tomorrow. That’s got to be a record for a guy who didn’t do anything suspension worthy.

He’s a man among boys, there’s no doubt about that, and I look forward to him playing against NHL players. I’m just disappointed it wasn’t Tkachuk on the receiving end of that beat down.

Don’t worry, that matchup will soon happen! :)

Dude seems like a carbon copy of Erik Cernak and it’s terrifying haha
Cernak can't dummy people like he can
Don't forget how tough some guys are in the league. He's not going to be the kingpin of the NHL.
The NHL is lacking in toughness. Chara likely retiring there's not going to be many that can stand up to him if he makes it.

Patience, apprentice. Everything is unfolding according to my design.

It seems Mailloux has a slim chance to be a number 1. He has the size, skating, shot, and 2 way skill set. We just have to wait to see how well he can process the game offensively and defensively at the AHL level.

But I'm sure hugo are still on the lookout for a number 1 D, Number 1 goalie, and a number 2 C.
Let’s see if have the 2C in Dach.

all of them are getting up there in age other than Wilson.

He will have to face some of them eventually but he is very young and still getting stronger and a better fighter. It's rare to see a fighter like him going for the haymaker every single time, he might have to adjust his style a bit to not get himself exposed.

Holly crap, even though I cannot pronounce his name, I'm about to start the Church of Xhekaj. To all the young folks outthere, THIS is how you have management of a hockey team notice you. He better play for the team next year. Two clean hits literally killed a guy and then he knocked out another with a punch.
His name is easy to pronounce, Jack-eye

I think I'd rather have a deep pool of 1-6 with defined roles and abilities than be reliant on a #1 who if they're hurt, you are boned.
The flip side of that though, is whether a team can be a legitimate contender without that no. 1 elite QB type on D.

Why not both, then? Should not have to be an either/or proposition since that need can be filled with an early enough draft pick soon.

Massicotte is 21 years old, 6'4'' and 216 lbs. Not exactly a boy.

Hope this Guy Makes it to NHL! He's a Blue Collar Man! Workiing from the Sewers, You have to Respect That! Non Drafted Players Work Hard!
Man, this is really getting dramatic! We might have the makings of a movie script.

Let’s ask director/ producer/ film mogul @Habs Icing for input. :naughty:

Pittsburgh was able to do it, Letang was gone for an entire cup run by them. So it's certainly happened before and recently. Hurricanes in '06 as well but that's further back.

Obviously I'd love to have a true #1 but we could survive with a really strong 1-6 with people playing certain roles. Like Guhle could be a #1 in certain conditions but won't be a Hedman on your PP1.

If Gorton or Hughes are smart, they would sign a pure AHL goon to handle the Sabourin, etc of the minor. Don’t make Arber be the only police in Laval.

I think they signed Saulnier to do that.. not sure he's a heavyweight but he's a willing combatant so imagine he will handle that role.
