Most players check to separate the puck from the body.
Arber checks to separate the soul from the body.

This is what I love to read, I am sick of vanilla no-identity players, this is what we need.In the OHL playoffs he was sometime booed booed by the (opposing) crowd whenever he had the puck
If you are implying Romanov was traded because of Jackeye, no. Dach was gotten because they passed on Wright and Romanov was the price for Dach and it will take time to see whether it was a success.Romanov for Dach (essentially) makes more sense now, does it not?
No, the trade was definitely for Dach. What I am saying is that Habs Management have Ghule (definitely) and Xhekaj (possibly) in the NHL lineup to bring the body / mean streak when the team is going to be competitive again, which made Romanov expendable. If you are implying Romanov was traded because of Jackeye, no. Thing of a beauty. On reddit, r/hockey was pisses as well, what a fantastic sight. Love being on the right side of it for once lmao. They all take him for a goon, they'll be surprised pretty soon...He singlehandedly pissed off the whole sens board today
Sorry, again I have to say I don't believe any prospect made Romanov expendable, but I do believe a new contract was more conducive to him being moved. No, the trade was definitely for Dach. Why, not fair ? they're about the same size, Massicotte is 6'4" 218 pounds, well, Arber is a bit heavier. From a physical standpoint, it's not even fair.
He's been an NHL body from a physical standpoint, that just happens to be playing against boys for a long time now.
Watching his hightlights in junior, it was like watching nhlers getting bulldozed with ease by Byfuglien.
He got suspended for doing this last season...What a respectful kid. Knocks the guy out and instantly knows. He's not out there to injured anybody and hitting people as they go down, à la Reaves.
Because the guy he KOed did the same thing to his teammate
There you go, that's an explanation. And even then, that can be considered direspectful. But every single fight I've seen of Jackeye he never hits his opponents while they're down. If I was fighting a guy like that and I got knocked out, I'd prefer he mocked me afterwards than receiving a punch while I'm down.He got suspended for doing this last season...

Massicotte was punching while afraid. There was nothing in those punches. He looked scared the entire fight.Massicotte actually caught Xhekaj with a couple of nice shots. What amazed me is they didn't even phase him.

AX gets sent to the box for his 2 mins and the Baby Sens coach tells Massicotte; "When he comes out the box, you're up."Massicotte was punching while afraid. There was nothing in those punches. He looked scared the entire fight.

I love Jackeye. I'll probably get his sweater when he secures his spot on the big club. He's a mean SOB though with multiple suspensions which is part of why fans throughout the OHL hated him and booed him when he'd touch the puck. I likened his skating away after today's KO punch to a bat flip in baseball. There you go, that's an explanation. And even then, that can be considered direspectful. It was like the Sens coach chummed the waters with a Massicotte's carcass and AX ate him for dinner.AX gets sent to the box for his 2 mins and the Baby Sens coach tells Massicotte; "When he comes out the box, you're up."
Poor guy thought that he wasn't getting paid enough danger money for that shit.
I'm also happy he's with the team. And don't get me wrong, fighting will always be violent and aggressive, and maybe respectful wasn't the right word. But he fights cleanly, and I really like that about the guy.I love Jackeye. I'll probably get his sweater when he secures his spot on the big club. Habs have been in need of a player with this combination of size, ability, edge, toughness and swagger for years. It's mind boggling that nobody took a shot at him via the draft.
There are plenty of AHL vets that will try him and some NHL players that will do the same. The danger in being recognized as a tough guy is that there might be a time when he gets caught on the wrong end of one of those punches. Management probably wants him to develop his defensive game and not just go out and fight.Soon, he won't have to fight anymore, everybody will be scared to fight him lol.
He's a bigger, meaner version of Chiarot.
If we had a right handed Markov who would take him under his wing, we would have a beast in the lineup.
I need to see him how he does at NHL speed in order to start dreaming.
