On a wrist shot too. Only other time I can remember this happening is Weber in the Olympics.
It's a faulty piece of equipment- a manufacturing error. Should we start a main boards thread for every pane of glass that shatters or stick that breaks? lmao
You have anything better to talk about? Maybe Crosby vs. Ovechkin, how many points Draisaitl would have without McDavid, how state taxes influence free agency?Agreed... No need of a thread for this.
Goalie got a piece of it to slow it down too. If he hadn't somebody in the crowd would probably be dead.
Just listen to any SC podcast when Biz opens his mouth. You have anything better to talk about? Maybe Crosby vs. Ovechkin, how many points Draisaitl would have without McDavid, how state taxes influence free agency?

I remember when Leclair scored a playoff goal by shooting it through the net on the outside of the post. It confused the f*** out of Hasek. They didn't catch it until the next commercial break but play had already resumed so it counted. I think that was one of many plays that led to the automatic reviews of all goals.
Same thing happened in the WCH game between Finland and USA maybe 10-15 years ago. Finnish D man shot the puck from the blue line, replay clearly showed the puck going through the net, referees looked at it but is was still allowed.I remember when Leclair scored a playoff goal by shooting it through the net on the outside of the post.
