I have a "New England Special Edition" thermostat - It allows heat and A/C to be on at the same time. Heat's at 72, A/C's at 76, and yes they have both turned on in the same 24 hours.
Isn't that the Auto setting ?
You set the heat, set the cool, and it figures out which one to use.
Not sure what happens if the temps overlap ?

Well, I got a date for my hip replacement surgery.

June 26th.

Wish I could wiggle my nose and have it all be done (Like Samantha the witch)
My pain started in my left hip Jan 2022.
Getting worse and worse.
How long from start of pain to replacement did you go.
I know everyone is different.

But all thermostats don't allow it. My original one in my new home had heat, cool, or off.

Many years ago I was diagnosed with arthritis in my SI joints. Not much they can do but injections that didn't work for me.

A few years ago they did more x-rays and found both hip sockets too. They were not doing surgeries because it was during COVID-19. I tried more injections.

My lefe hip is very bad so that is the first one that I am getting done.

Anyone ever been to Universal Orlando around Halloween time?
How was it?

The Bride and I are thinking of going last week in September.

Last year went during Christmas time and it was done up amazingly.

I went every year when I lived in Orlando.
Amazing time. The first year was the best. They had zombies hanging from all the telephone poles(living actors). Lots of concerts and to do's, half the rides were modified for Halloween. My pizza was cut up by Freddie Kruger with his glove.

As years went along it was more muted, more cookie cutter. But when I lived in Orlando it was a must go to every fall.

Anyone go recently?

Never made it down for Halloween. Was always July or Christmas.

My wisdom tooth is killing me today. I need to get it taken out. But I have to wait until AFTER the Taylor Swift on Friday. I'm going to call oral surgery tomorrow to make an appointment for next week. (I don't go under, I just do the novacaine). Fingers crossed and many prayers my tooth holds on and starts to feel less achy with my jaw so I can at least enjoy my birthday present.

This feeling is horrible. I've got 3 of them to take out. None are impacted thank goodness, but this one has to go first.

Hi. Clove oil from the store will help your tooth pain. Rub it on or use a cotton ball.
I'm so sorry :( tooth pain is awful.

I'm going to order that off instacart now. Thank you!

It truly is. I was supposed to have the rest all out by now, but then the pandemic happened. Of course this one wants to be ruthless when I'm supposed to go somewhere fun and enjoy myself for once!

I just need to make it to Friday!

@Glove Malfunction and I finally got to Sid's Garage in N. Scottsdale yesterday. I highly recommend it if you are not on a diet and really like candied bacon.

I'll let you Google.

I wanted to share some good news for a change after 2 years of pure hell. My daughter suffers from anxiety and severe migraines and hasn't worked for a few years - she is a lawyer. She got a job yesterday! She is excited about it and it doesn't have the high stress of a law office, which will help immensely as she returns to work.

She will be working in one of those notary public locations, so will notarize documents, etc., for people who don't need or want to go to a law office. Law offices don't like to do it because there isn't much money in it. Perfect scenario!

Congratulations to her! As a fellow anxiety sufferer I empathize greatly, as I know all too well how debilitating it is. That's huge!

Blessings for the new venture, that's wonderful.

Finally, a hummingbird showed up on our feeder this afternoon. The lilacs are blooming and the scent is divine! We saw an osprey, bluebird and lots of grumpy Canada Geese today. Spring is here and it is beautiful weather!

Also, it is our 42nd wedding anniversary today! My hubby is my rock, he has been so great through all the years and has helped me get through the last two that have been so tough. I am very fortunate!
