I went to a street festival, did a lot of walking, got some lunch, came home, took a nap, woke up with chills, went in the bathroom and violently puked.

Fun times.
I hope you feel better from whatever made you sick.

Sending you a warm hug

Rainy day at the Cave.... Got a haircut (all of them before you ask)...went to an awesome little grocery store- bought way too much comfort food (a salad with, you guessed it - cucumbers!!) and ate at IHOP - their breakfast wrap with salsa is DIVINE - and pancakes - so now I'm in a food coma. Passing up the big box store to go home and watch hockey (let's go Bolts pleeze) and nap.

Actually didn't wake up until 2pm....I guess last night was pretty stressful/disappointing......

I have my last of 5 presentations this month, today on Zoom at 10. I feel fine about it, but my body is like...oh hey, hi, be nervous. It's international, so that makes me slightly jumpy.

anywhoo-I'm sitting here reading hockey news until it's time.
LFG!

You've been through so much. I'm so sorry your body threw up a stop sign (literally).

Rest and do gentle things for you tummy. <3

Does anyone have any comedy show recommendations

I’m so depressed right now I need to try and have a laugh and get my mind off hockey

What type of comedy do you like? I love the Britcoms the most but not sure what you can get in the US. Travels with Jack Whitehall is fun.

Life in Pieces and Young Sheldon are good. I'm guessing you have seen Schitt's Creek, always worth watching.

Ted Lasso is pretty good. After Life. They're sorta comedy-dramas though, which is my style and may not be yours.

I brought this pot back with me after mom's funeral. It was our "mashed potato pot." She must have made hundreds of pounds of potatoes in that thing over the years. I believe she got it and a larger matching pot as a wedding present back in 1961. Still going strong!
