Mine are all Leaf’s fans, mainly because of that Wendel video that I’ve seen showing them since they were babies.
They have brought in a few of their friends, still mostly Preds fans ( we refuse to let any Roll Tide fans cheer for Leafs), but at least they follow the sport.

I hope that's the message in the dressing room. If these guys come out and play like they have breathing room, it's going to be extremely frustrating. They took their foot of the other team's throat more than once through this series of disappointments. Time to show they've matured and understand what it takes now.

Do not let one Tampa skate touch Sammy’s crease, do not let one Tampa finger touch Sammy. Pound the puck with sticks, Tampa sweaters with Leaf bodies when opportunity allows, and the net behind Vas with BWO and Leaf Nation cheers that can be heard from space.

Been super critical of Samsonov but man did he come up big last game. He needs to hold that fort today. Little does he know, he'll be in history books with the leafs and possibly a legend
 
If somebody told me Sammy's SV% was .876 and we were up 3-1, I would not believe it. Not sure what Andy and Soup's were but IIRC they had higher SV%. Pretty much shows they were not the reasons we lost to CBJ, Habs and Tampa.

To me it's all about the timing of the goals allowed.

Sammy's ability to shut the door in tie games or when the Leafs start to grab momentum has been huge.

I will take a Grant Fuhr win everytime.

Game 1: Outshot 30-17 Leafs lose
Game 2: Outshot 31-26 Leafs win
Game 3: Outshot 37-17 Leafs win
Game 4: Outshot 36-24 Leafs lose
Game 5: Outshot 21-16 Leafs win
Game 6: Outshot 46-28 Leafs lose
Game 7: Outshot 37-26 Leafs win

...and the Leafs have a MUCH better team this time.

Belfour steals the series! Maybe we are just eating the karma after what we did to those great Ottawa teams so many times.

We just need you to steal 1 game out of 3! All the other goalies have failed since then. It's been our biggest issue. Don't continue to be part of the problem.
 
Are there still memberships available to join BWO? Can you be a member of Leafs Nation and BWO? Asking for a friend. :D

Oh, they were. Soft goals in every big game they played while the other goalies shut the door.

They had Belfour, we had Lalime in every big game.

I wouldn't leap to that conclusion. Game 1 sucked, not sure what Sammy's numbers are since then but better, obviously.

I just checked the betting line at oddsshark, I like what I see. Current lines aren't up for some reason but I like that opening line. Home ice baby, let's make it count!

This for sure. If you erase game one, he's been pretty good and he hasn't let in those backbreakers like Campbell and Andersen became famous for.

If he can continue that tonight, Leafs are in a good spot.

I guess it is a good thing Vasi is an .856 then and we don't have to worry about it because Sammy is one game away from doing something both Andy and Soup failed to do.
