The Refs were incompetent in NOT assessing a penalty to Stamkos for instigating. At minimum, our Leafs should have had a 5 on 3 on that Rielly/Point incident!!!

Matthews should have turtled. No shame in avoiding a fight when you're trailing in the 3rd. A turtle could have gotten us 5-3 or at least would have kept Matthews playing.

I don't think it's possible for Brodie to play anywhere near as bad again as he did last game. A lot of unlucky bounces against him too in that game.

Not sure why people are so riled up about this. It’s not like it was Jeannot fighting Matthews. It’s playoff hockey, scrums are inevitable. Matthews is a big boy and shouldn’t really worry about a clown like Stamkos

Sammy is going to have to be strong again. The team was dogshit in game 4 last year but so was Jack who couldn't weather the storm and let everything in.

Shouldn't their only mission to be win the game and series?
Tampa would love Simmonds on the ice against Stamkos, they'll take that match up all night long.

I disagree about the lineup.
ZAR, Kampf and Lafferty were hemorrhaging scoring chances. 3 shots for and 13 against. No goals against but nothing you want to keep in a momento box.
Kerfoot, Tavares Nylander were also a shit show. Need to shore up the scoring chance differential.
ZAR isn't doing much and some line shakeups might be in order

4th ain’t going anywhere. Keefe has them taking the majority of the defensive face offs even without last change. You put Simmonds there and now Matthews line has to worry about defensive starts every time while 4th gets sheltered offensive starts.
