Really? It had one memorable scene(you know what I’m talking about), and I thought otherwise entirely forgettable.

I hated it myself. I “get it” and everything but it’s mostly just a mediocre movie.

I dunno been like 12 years since ive seen it but I remember being glued to the tv in anticipation of what would happen next. I found it psychologically thrilling like black swan.

Meanwhile, my dad was upset at a weather broadcast a few days ago that said, to the effect, that cold temperatures were around the corner when showing a map of the single digits (on either side of zero) and he scoffed saying that 0° isn’t cold.

I had to check a stack of 1400 steel containers a mile long at 1am to find a missing box to go on a train because my inventory clerk called off on Monday. Found it. 1382 containers in. Been sleeping off sickness since I got home from work Monday morning.

I'm with you on liking this one. It was a little off center but a good watch. I have watched it 5-6 times and enjoyed it each time.

Not now, not ever. Not even in the Dynasty years. We’d get like a single, 7-minute, sporadic segment every few days at best. They’d rather talk about the Cubs and Sox in January than the Hawks

I've never found any sports radio talk all that listenable, regardless of team or sport. If music isn't an option for some reason I would probably opt for silence over listening to meatballs bicker.

Chicago sports radio is garbage. Gave it up 10+ years ago and haven't looked back.

Plenty of good Hawks podcasts out there, much better use of time if that's what you're looking for.

To be fair, is there anything worth talking about regarding the Blackhawks? Oh, the team might be good in two or three years? Swell.

But yeah, I gave up on sports radio after ESPN 1000 spent two consecutive rush hour drives talking about the then new Cubs mascot when, "this looks goofy and dumb" was the most that warranted being said.

I think a rebuilding team is a lot of fun to talk about personally. We do it here constantly. It was fun in 2013 or so when the Cubs were getting all their young guys in place. HF Boards is the superior medium for sports talk anyway. Am I really going to value the opinion of the "casual sports fan" guy like Silvy or Carmen De Falco or whoever of that ilk? Tom Waddle had some interesting things to say every now and then but only about football.
