Nothing but trouble :naughty:

We’ve also gone zip lining, hiking, did a mountain coaster, and (weather-pending) a boozy lazy river tomorrow.

It’s been a great vacation. I haven’t had to not think about school and/or work in a very long time and everything has been perfect so far!

Glad you're enjoying it.

I just had a 2 day work retreat at what will be the nicest hotel I'll stay at my entire life. Holy crap.... and this is my second week at the job lol.

Just booked another Bahamas cruise for March. Taking our 11 year old daughter with this time. The older one didn't want to miss a full week of classes her freshman year at NIU, because her spring break falls differently than our other daughter's and my fiance's, so she's going to skip this one. Can't wait to go again. One of the ports is different this time, though. We'll be in Miami, then Half Moon Cay(Carnival's private island), then Nassau, and then back to Miami.

Never done a cruise. Sounds fun.

We had a ton of fun this last time. There's so much to do on the ships, and something is always going on from 7am until about 1:30am when the dance club closes. Even then, the casino is usually open until about 3am. Then you have your ports where you can do excursions, exploring, shopping, etc. Went on my first last month, and fell in love with it. Pretty affordable, too, as far as major vacations go. And the locations are just unbelievably beautiful in the Caribbean. If you haven't done a cruise, I highly recommend it.

I did a cruise once. It was actually pretty fun, more so than I expected. If I could do it all over again I would have brought a few more books for the time the ship is at sea, as the onboard activities get old pretty fast. But going to a bunch of different places was cool and interesting.

The cool thing with it is that you can choose what to do, when to do it, and if you wanna do anything at all. You can just sit on the deck in the sun and read, while sipping a frozen drink, or you could play bingo, go on scavenger hunts, watch a comedy show or live play, or even take in a movie under the stars out on the deck at night. There's really something for everyone of all ages.

Cruises are fun. Usually there is a gathering on the top deck when the boat sets sail. They did a belly flop competition on the last one I went on which I did for the lols. Well, on the cruise boat channel they replayed it on a loop throughout the trip. IIRC I only finished 4th, but all the guys that did it were celebrities the whole trip. People would come up all excited, “You were in the belly flop competition!” I was like, you know I finished 4th, right? But it didn’t matter to them so I just went with it. Everyone is so happy on a cruise.

Yep, ours had a big deck party when it was leaving port last month. They did a hairiest chest competition on ours a couple days in. I didn't volunteer. Turned out to be a good thing... it was pretty embarrassing for those guys. Haha. And yeah, 99.99% of people on the ship are happy. Saw one fight between a drunk couple on one night(around 2am when I was up on the deck having a cig), but that was it. Not even voices raised. Just lots of drinking, eating, and being merry.

That’s a competition I’d win hands down, lol.

That's funny, because it was about more than just hairiest chest. They put them through the ringer with 3 or 4 challenges. One you had to act out saving the female judges from a giant snake(a towel lol), one you had to show off your best dance moves and muscle flexes, and one you had to be dressed up like a woman, where all the women watching provided them with accessories and stuff like that to make the most attractive woman. It was definitely embarrassing as all hell, and I was this close | | to volunteering, and damn glad I ended up not... I laughed a lot at those guys' expense, but I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

Damn, that’s a little overboard, pun intended. I’d still do it if whoever I was with wanted me to but yeah, that’s a lot.

All while bare chested. Lol. And the final one was the dressed up as a woman thing... and they did a conga line around the entire deck dressed that way. Was definitely a lot... and all they got for their embarrassment was a bottle of champagne.

Lol, did Gloria Steinem become a cruise director? How emasculating, all in good fun though.

Garbage, as far as I can tell. Not even champagne, technically, I don't believe. Sparkling wine. I think it was Santero? Can't even find it online. Most of their other stuff sells for like $10 a bottle, though, from what I've seen. So it's swill.
