We were doing agility drills in our morning conditioning, and as funny as this sounds, one of them is tag. There is a square and we have to stay in that and try to not get tagged for a period of time. Anyway, the person who was it was running at me and I tried to duck and took a knee right to the side of the head. Hurt like a real son of a *****.

And yes I will change it, time for a change anyway. Need to get to a computer, though.

Oh no!

Can you at least get a doctor's note to let you go to that Hawk's game then?

When the regular season ends I am going to do a spreadsheet that will do a head to head "Playoff Prediction" battle between as many statistical categories that I can think of. Many will be obvious, some are more for fun. While hardly all encompassing, it will be fun and interesting to see which categories get the most playoff predictions correct.

But I'm looking for ideas for more. Here's the ones I have thought of so far:

Points
Goal Differential
Goals For
Goals Against
Goalie Stats
Away Record
Last 10 or Streak "Momentum"
Corsi %
Corsi Close %
Fenwick (if different than Corsi)
Cup Rings by player
PDO (good)
PDO vs points (bad luck)
Average Age (if I can find this)

October Record
Shootout Record
Most players with "G" in their name
Alphabetical
Proximity to Toronto, center of universe
Most Canadians
Most Russians

Any other ideas? Preferably ones that I can actually find the numbers for relatively easily.

As someone who majored in statistics in college (and I did a large presentation on the Moneyball ideas), I find this stuff fascinating and I hope you share your results when you've completed it.

Some other categories to spit-ball:
Age of team captain
Number of playoff appearances by team in last 10 years (playoff experience if you will)
Total career playoff games played by players on a team (might be a pain to compile data for)
How long the coach has been with the team
Number of goals/points by team's regular season leader
Number of games played by starting goalie during regular season (the Brodeur/Kipper argument of "wearing out" a goalie during the season)
1st round draft picks on the team (drafted by the team or otherwise, your choice)
Number of home-grown players on the team

I think he misread the tweet that said he's "under fire" unless he has some insider info

He tweeted some sexist comments last night WRT a CSN reporter whose name escapes me.

Not surprised. For as politically liberal and morally sanctimonious about sports figures as he'd get, he'd have these pervy comments about women work his way into the show sometimes that always took me a bit aback when they happened like he had no clue he had any female listeners at all.

Still haven't seen anything that says he was fired and the score tweeted a column of his in the last hour. False alarm methinks.

But I am enjoying Michelle Beadle going in on him.
