He got us Jones (who's not great, but a decent enough backup). Treliving obviously asked Shanny, Keefe, goalie coach, training staff, and all the other 300 employees we have what should he do with Sammy and they said resign him. I don't think our new GM thought, Jesus Christ, I must have this goalie. That's why he went to arbitration imo. Brad thought, ok you've got 1 year to show me.

Samsonov has been atrocious all year but yet he's been given every chance to rebound and plays even worse.

Keefe is not the coach for this team. He has 0 system and if it wasn't for Matthews, Marner and Nylander winning us games based solely on skill then we're a bubble playoff team. He's fixated on his lines and doesn't even want to rock the boat when it comes to his players feelings. It's time to get a 0 bullshit coach who will actually not be afraid to coach this team, even if it means hurting someone's feelings.

Treliving has had plenty of time to see this team for what it is. It's on him to make the moves to improve this team, even if it's the hard move. Goaltending is an issue, our defense is horrible.
