one of my major concerns today was keeping our 1st. If Drury managed to do that I think he had a very good day. Hopefully we hung on to Chytil though too. I could live okay with other of our assets being moved for him.
Easy eco! Copp return hasn't been announced yet!

He fills a need which is something the Rangers frequently forget to consider during trade deadlines.

Can play all positions, can penalty kill, can win faceoffs, defensively responsible and most importantly removes one of our non NHL caliber bottom six players from the roster for the entire duration he's here.

He has a better expected goals at 5v5 rating than everyone on our team other than Chris Kreider by a decent margin.

I would imagine at least one pick is conditional on him signing.
I thought you weren't allowed to do that anymore because the NHLPA said it was hurting players' ability to sign new deals. Specifically remember the Zuccarello in Dallas pick being the one that spurred the change bc both sides wanted a deal and the only reason they didnt make one was bc Dallas didnt wanna give up the better pick if they re-signed him.

If it's Robertson or better, I take back everything nice I said.

They supposedly wanted a player rather than picks, so maybe instead of 2 2nds, it's 1 2nd, a prospect, and a low pick. We still have another 4th this year.

I thought we would go after Domi but I like this move more. Domi is capable of being a better player but Copp has been better this season, is more reliable, and can actually play center. Hopefully the return isn't too painful. Drury doing a nice job filling out some bottom 6 spots for a playoff run.

Copp is automatically the frontrunner for the Steven McDonald award.
