I can't find another Copp thread, so this one it is.

Looks like everything I'm reading from various sources is that Copp and the Rangers are pretty far apart, and looks very much like it won't get done.

Copper is like his buddy Trouba. Wants to get paid, first and foremost. Good player, but some team might pay him for his Panarin boosted production and it appears Drury knows better.

Trouba hits hard, Copp doesn't hit. let him go and sign Malkin to play with Panarin and Kravtsov.

We wasted loads of assets on 3 months of hockey. Only guy we re-signed, to a stupidly big contract was Brendan Smith ...

There is still couple of hours to re-sign Copp.
