No excuse for Brunette, very dumb even if it's a golf cart (which would make him very vulnerable in collisions with full sized vehicles). Same as with a bicycle, you can't just get loaded and hit the open road.

That officer though...

I just assumed that went without saying. Might want to do it twice, just to be sure.
The ole double guillotine. In case they still had too much consciousness after the first chop. You are a man of principle.

Unreal how some people blame the cops. Personal accountability does not exist. I know that area really well. If he runs the stop sign gets plowed by a truck and the passanger dies I guess that's the cops fault too.
Agreed. Honestly they should punish Brunette as if he ran 3 busses full of toddlers off road just to be sure this never happens again. With him or anyone else.

Well maybe he learned his lesson and won't operate anything while he's totally shitfaced because that's what he was. I would bet that wasn't his first time driving under the influence but yes let's make light of it until someone gets killed.

From watching the video:

1) Even if it's a golf cart, you still have to obey the rules of the road. Any cops that see someone run a stop sign are going to pull them over.

2) DUI in a Golf Cart is still a DUI.

3) Saw nothing in the video seeing the officer as unprofessional. He should be applauded for keeping his composure in this case.

4) Lot of the HF p***s tend to show up

No I agree, there are millions of DUI arrests every year. It'd be a good practice to try to double DUI arrests. Let's limit the workforce who are dying for workers even more and open up more jobs for jail jobs that no one even wants now. Let's also continue to work against public transportation.

Also like I said before, let's judge people before they even set foot in court. You and I have the video, they are guilty as charged. No court needed.

Example of why HF Boards need a breathalyzer.

probably not a DUI conviction but definitely partakes in the behaviour, which is a result of the overreliance on vehicles in north america (particularly the further you get from urban centres) and drinking culture
America and Canada are both sprawling countries and many of our cities aren't set up for walking or mopeds i.e. Dallas, TX. That's just the reality of life here.

Drinking culture? Ireland says hello

As for Brunette, I seem to remember watching when he scored the GWG for the Wild against the Avs in a game 7 years ago. Maybe 2004? Sad to see him like that

You must be an attorney lol Like one of the 1-800-get-free attorneys that have commericals to fight your DUI charge? Good stuff. I am sure he was totally sober. Like he had 2,3,4 beers or no he was coming from Oceans234 (Which is actually a nice restaurant in deerfield beach)??? He just couldn't remember lol

Don’t get pulled over in America. They mean business. The video seems a bit harsh to me. lol at “you know the Florida Panthers” “I coached there"

He could have done his job without being an ass.

Did you hear his sarcastic, antagonistic tone way he said "oh that's odd" after brunette said he didn't have his wallet? He went about the whole interaction looking to get a rise out of brunette.
Even when we was talking to himself in his cop car you could tell being a passive aggressive guy during traffic stops really amused him

So hims saying “oh that’s odd”. Makes him an ass? Okay. There is only one ass in the video, and it’s the drunk guy who was arrested.

The whole encounter, and his attitude throughout. That was just one example.
You're completely out to lunch. This police officer was professional throughout, evn though Brunette was slurring one bald-faced lie after another. "She was driving". "I made the stop". "I had one beer". "I had only two".

All these lies and attempts to get away, from a guy who isn't just driving slightly impaired... he is visibly completely hammered. And you somehow come to the conclusion that the cop, who was being fed bullshit by a drunk who tried to play the celebrity card, is an asshole...

Do yourself a favor and stop trying to have an opinion about everything. Sometimes, like in this instance, it seems you come up with completely random stuff.

I'm sure people in these gated communities regularly take the golf cart home drunk thinking it's ok, lesson learned for Bruno. Can't blame him for a last ditch effort pulling the coach of the Panthers card, most people would do the same in that position. Stupid decision I'm sure he regrets. Big reason I stopped drinking 2 years ago, don't want to end up a 50 year old man drunk on a police cam looking like an idiot.
