What's absurd is that you think 18 years olds Zadina, Chytil and Kaut are (would be in Zadina's case) the best players on the Czech team.
they are sorry buddy

You forgot Necas. Their WJC could give this WHC a run for their money. lolWhat's absurd is that you think 18 years olds Zadina, Chytil and Kaut are (would be in Zadina's case) the best players on the Czech team.
Bulletproof arguments right there. You persuaded me.they are sorry buddy
A mid-tier Extraliga team would beat this year's Czech WJC team. Some awful prospect overrating going on here. You forgot Necas. Their WJC could give this WHC a run for their money. lol
It was an hyperbole, relax. Anyway, Chytil and Zadina looked better than the rest of the players in the 3 games that I watched in these pre WHC tournaments.Bulletproof arguments right there. You persuaded me.

To think that Nečas, Chytil, Zadina and Kaut would be the best forwards on the Czech team is utterly ridiculous. Are they the most talented/promising guys ? Sure. But in no way they are the cornerstoness of that squad.
Nečas has fantastic wheels, he's a great PP QB and possesses superb stickhandling but Worlds are not some beer league competition, he won't be able to pull these off every shift. This was evident in Extraliga final this year. His play suffered once there was no time and space to pull fancy stuff off. He needs some time to adjust to this imo.
Kaut is an amazing all-around player for his age, he's a perfect fit for a bottom 6 role + useful on both PP and PK.
Zadina showed flashes of brilliance in those games, he tried really hard but you could se he was often lost during board battles against bigger guys and his D-zone play wasn't good either which could really hurt the team when you look at that defense ..
Chytil is the best player from this group at the moment. He's probably the only one who is really 100% to make some serious impact on the big stage.
@Kovalev27 is known to use some extreme hyperbole around here but I think his point stands. Czech's haven't had such a talented crop of forwards in awhile so they should be doing their best to start building their team around them right now, and live through the growing pains because as someone put it - the team is closer to Slovak level than Finnish, Swedish or Russian in Euro hierarchy.
Now there might be alternative reasons for not having Zadina in this tournament but it should not be because he's 18 and this is a "World Championship"
I'm just happy that you said that Chytil is the best at the moment so I will not disagree about the rest with you sir.To think that Nečas, Chytil, Zadina and Kaut would be the best forwards on the Czech team is utterly ridiculous. It was already confirmed (considering one was selected above the other) but Lias > Mittelstadt.Mittlesdat injured his groin working out in Buffalo and will miss the World Championships
I wonder if pull-ups were involved![]()
He sure produces more for his National Team, man version, than Mittlestadt, who specializes in the kids version. It was already confirmed (considering one was selected above the other) but Lias > Mittelstadt.

I’m sorry so I said they’re the best players which you say is ridiculous but your next sentence is that they’re the most talented lol. Play your most talented players because outside of these kids your most talented player is 45 years old (jagr)
Not sure why so upset these kids are still Czech I didn’t say you didn’t have Any talented players at all
The Brits are coming![]()

Take that, Hungary!
I wonder just how bad we'll be...
So, what are the odds that the IIHF panel was all-Canadian? The only people I saw getting upset about it were Canadians
What a stupid rule.If you read the article, the players/coaches who were suspended were all suspended because they took off their silver medals immediately after being presented with them. There are actually rules in place that state they have to be worn for the duration of the ceremony. Apparently, players were even warned about it, but took them off anyway. Lias got 4 games instead of 2 for throwing his into the stands.
I don't think there's any bias here and it's something Lias shouldn't have done. I'm all for passion, but there are better ways to show it.
