His skating really improved. I always pulled for him and was extremely pissed that we could lose him... but he is here. Nino who?

This is the Lee we were looking for.

BeastLee.

It is amazing the additional garbage goals and rebounds you open up with guys who can do what he does. Strong in front, but has the hands of Moulson from what I am seeing. He even knocked the goal off its moorings with his face and didn't even blink. Lee eats concrete for dinner and ***** coliseums.

So that's 5 goals and 2 assists in these 7 games to go along with the goal and assist in two games last year. PPG career.

Very good pwf that has improved his skating so much...

So versatile too... love that with the kids we have been watching not just Lee. Strome, Nelson, Lee, they can play the wing or C love it.

Really didn't like his defensive game his brief stint before but he has seemed to clear that up big time. He skates so much better as well. It's still early but even if the points taper off I'll still be happy if he keeps playing the way he is.

He's clearly a winger. He was just unlucky to get stuck as a center that one shift where he got beat. And the other thing was just a board battle that he lost. As long as he skates back he'll be fine because he's never playing center up here.

That is why we need to temper our expectations about him scoring 30 next year (or more). Looks fantastic and seems to be a steal but even the best goal-scorers rarely exceed 14-17%

Right now he's scoring .67 goals per game (55 goal pace). If he scores .37 goals per game (30 goal pace), we'll be extremely happy. A 230 lb 30 goal guy would be pretty dang sweet.

love his net front presence. and don't forget that he is playing 3rd line minutes. 13-14 per game. lots of room for this kid to improve...

now to get some presence in front of our own net :help:

I wonder if he'll be considered for Tavares' LW to start next season. By September of 2014, we could have a lot of different options for that spot: Lee, Nelson, Bailey, maybe even Bennett. I don't see a real need to make another run at Vanek, or any high-priced player for that spot.

I'd think it'd be between Lee, Nelson and Strome. Bailey doesn't deserve a shot at top-line. And I agree, no need for Vanek.. instead please, please, please plug the defense and goal tending holes.
