Isn't it about winning games, and right now we are, or is it about certain players getting more points?

Of course it is about winning games, but winning games isn't magic. It is scoring more goals than the opponent.

If you win games by having your goaltender stand on his head, you aren't in a sustainable place. You want to win games the way we were winning games last year, by outperforming our opponents.

The Florida game was a well played game. The Philly game was an awful game. Despite that, we lost the Florida game and won the Philly game. The end results do not dictate the strategy. The process dictates the strategy.

We've had some wins we did not deserve. I'd like to see the team hitting on all cylinders and that includes scoring from 91 and 27.

So, to me, it is about winning in a sustainable fashion. I don't care about individual scorers, only a sustainable strategy for success.

It's a long season and will have different players struggling at different times...hopefully come play off time they are all hitting on all cylinders. But right now you have to play the lines that are winning games ugly or not.

I couldn't disagree more. Process is more important than voodoo.

This team is making the playoffs because it is good. They won't lose games because Joe Boo wants 27 with 51.

He has sophomoreslumpus. The antidote is to pull a rumplestilskin and wake up next year when he gets his touch back. Or he will be a one season wonder...

Last year he was getting lots of shots from the slot, this year very few. Pair him with Tavares and tell him to go to the net. He'll take care of business.

this is the whole difference in a nutshell. Lee just isn't as effective without Tavares and that's not uncommon. Chemistry between players is something Capuano seems to have ZERO FEEL for. ZERO.

He forced Parenteau-Moulson on Tavares until it "worked"
It was clear Boyes-Moulson wasn't working.
He's also forcing Okposo-Tavares, they get points but have little chemistry IMO.

Bailey-Lee-JT works likes a gem so he breaks them up.

Just like Bailey-Nielsen-Okposo from a couple years ago.

He's stubborn in an odd way - very confusing from the outside looking in. But maybe he's such a genius and tactician that his moves are beyond our understanding, from behind a keyboard and an attitude.:amazed:

Sadly, Parenteau and Moulson probably had more chemistry with JT than any current islander combo.
