For you gamers out there, i'm having a lot of fun with Dredge, an indie boat fishing kind of game, with a dark, Lovecraftian feel at night, with sea monsters and stuff lurking. Has a lot of fish to find, lot to unlock and upgrade, probably a good 15-20 hour game for the price.

Nice! Quality coaching in Kitchener next season.

Have anyone tried Everbar chocolate bars.? I buy them from wending machine .75$ per bar , love them. Don't know where they from, but Walmart and Amazon selling them 39$ for only 24 bars. Just don't get it

I've been at work places that would stock and sell vended items for cost or lower as a minor employee perk. Perhaps that's it?

Otherwise buying them in bulk seems like kind of a bad deal. Keep vending them, friend.

It's not about being ashamed at going. I was surprised at how funny it was. 10/10 do recommend.
I'm sure I'll watch it on TNT or something at some point.

I've been to... four movies in theaters since the last time the Wings won the Stanley Cup.

Tangled, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1, Veronica Mars (I donated to the kickstarter for that right, damn it), and the most recent Maleficent movie (friend and her children wanted to see it)

Not today Satan with any address or anything, but today is the day I closed on a house in SE Mich.

God damn I’m excited. :sarcasm::thumbu::cool:

I noticed the other day that real estate prices got pretty stupid in SE Michigan like it did elsewhere. Everything is at least 50% over pre-COVID prices even with rates at 20+ year high. I was looking at a possible transfer to our Novi office, thought it'd be a lot cheaper than my current location (WA state).

Someone asked me when they should buy, I said if you don't own a house already you're either crewed or more screwed, lol. I don;t think timing matters much anymore.

This.

I feel like a dipshit for not buying in Dallas before moving to Seattle. Could have sold and taken the profit for a down payment on something here.

You're screwed. Prices in WA more than doubled since 2013 when I bought my house. (Actually about 150% increase) I don't think it's going down at all, even at the beginning of COVID, prices only dipped. Rate hike just caused another dip, but it's rising again.

So I'm thinking 150% increase in WA (since 2013), I can buy lakefront in MI.... not really. I can get a bigger house though.... but then again that was true back in 2013. 1600 sq ft in Bellingham is equivalent to twice the square footage in Brighton, MI. Neighbor sold a few months ago for $620k, and prices are going back up. Plus I have central AC, and you know that's rare here.

I think I need to return to Texas as soon as I can get a transfer for work. I’ve regretted the move to Seattle since December.
