Andor was amazing. I'm about to watch it a second time through. As a Star Wars fan who most other Star Wars fans can't relate to, Rogue One and Andor were the corner of the Star Wars universe I had been wanting to see since childhood. I'm the guy who watched Star Wars as a kid, saw the opening scenes where the Empire captures Tantive IV, and wanted to know the story of the Rebels on the ship who were gunned (lasered?) down by stormtroopers while trying to protect the Death Star plans. Who were they? Why were they in a struggle where they were so overmatched? How did they get there? Where was their dedication coming from? What was their story, man?I'm not a fan of Star Wars or really anything in that Disney/Marvel umbrella, so look me right in my beautiful blue eyes and take me seriously when I say Andor was one of the best shows I've seen in the last few years.
You can have your magical assholes, give me the non-Force users who fight against great odds without a cheat code.
Nostalgia removed, Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars film, and Andor topped it.
