Almost certainly will start with the big club I’d say. I think he’s only played one preseason game which I didn’t watch but I was very impressed by him last year especially at the end. If he spends significant time in the NHL I could see him getting 30+ points easily.
I hear you. I remember when Zellweger first joined the Kamloops Blazers, alongside Stankoven, he was the most exciting player I ever saw play for the Blazers with how well he skated and how skilled he was with the puck. Every time he was on the ice... you knew as he controlled the play. Definitely going to be rooting for Zellweger this season.
I don't think it's crazy but I don't see it. Where does he slot in besides the fourth line? Better to give him top 6 minutes in the AHL and work on refining his game for the pro level.
But probably around his sweet spot of where he could end up as an NHLer. Unless he has some hidden fourth gear, he's looking like a second line winger. Could be a really good one with multiple valuable elements in his game, but I haven't seen that something special that screams first liner.
This would imply a 2nd line of Fabbri-McTavish-Terry. I don’t hate the idea of it, I just hope Zegras gets enough ice time in that spot.
I mean. Does it? And Zegras goes where? They're not bumping Carlsson off the center position. It's just never going to happen.
