What else could it be? Unless it’s some sort of copyright thing which I wouldn’t think? Not saying it’d be helpful to other teams but who knows, pro teams probably see value in things we don’t

You've hit, exactly, on the issue. There isn't a single good reason to not allow this during preseason.

Guess the org doesn't want anyone else from profiting from the free venue, e.g. broadcasting on YouTube and having some sponsorship. Then the org needs to broadcast these sessions on Victory+ to get some revenue. Doesn't Victory+ need content anyhow?

I’m just trying to think of any constructive reason regardless of it being good or bad for fans. Who knows, could be in their agreement with the new provider.

I don't have any social media, but I've been trying to search THN (Derek Lee or Patrick Present), the Athletic (Stephens), DMY (Duck My Life YouTube), San Diego Gulls (sometimes they post prospect stuff there) and OC Register. It's just dead silent.

Based upon what Cronin was saying, we seen the drills and practices before from last season. DMY streamed all of it last season. Alas, it's this too has gone the way of the injury reports... just lots of mum.
