I need to see the scoring and draft date/time before I'm 100% actually. Coaching and clinics are starting to pick up again with school starting.

Most likely days for a draft would be Oct 1/2 or Oct 8/9. Since @Kalv is participating (and idk if any of the other people are European or not), it would be nice to have the draft during the day time so he/they can participate.

Weekends are kinda bad for me but I'll know closer to the 1st.

Won’t be able to join this league, but currently doing a draft for a keeper league I joined this year.

Through 4 rounds out of 20 I have this so far. Ekbland, as one of my keepers, took my 4th round slot. 12 people league. How’s this look? First time doing a keeper league.

C
Trevor Zegras (K)
Jack Hughes (K) C/LW

Wings
William Nylander (K) RW/LW
Jonathan Huberdeau (2) LW
Artemi Panarin (3) LW, NYR

Defensemen

Cale Makar (1)

is fantasy hockey similar to fantasy football? I would be interested. just need an explanation
More similar to fantasy baseball in the way it counts the scores - FF generally gives you 1 pt per 10 yds gained (or whatever the league has set). Whereas, since hockey (and baseball) don't typically have the high numbers football does, it's a 1 for 1 when it comes to counting stats. So your roster's/player's raw stats are all added together as the season goes along. If anything, there's less nuance in fantasy hockey since you can't really get negative points and don't have a Team DEF slot that could let you down! It's much more conducive to a set-and-forget approach if that's your thing, or life gets in the way, etc.

Here are the Yahoo default settings:

And here are my league's custom settings:

Some explanation:
Added Shorthanded Points because I feel like that's something that should be counted.
Added Hits to give some extra value to defensemen. Still doesn't make too much of an impact overall.
Most of the ratios are similar, it's just that the custom settings are less inflated. But if people want to inflate scores, I'm totally cool with that. I could simply just double each value.
Maybe the biggest difference is the points awarded for a SOG (0.9 vs. 0.05). Considering bumping them up to at least 0.1, but I'm willing to hear opinions.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. And for those of you who aren't super familiar with fantasy hockey, don't worry too much about this.
