I always think McNabb is doing pretty decent and may be alright out there.

I also always think McNabb is some 19-20 year old prospect getting his first look in the NHL.

Yup, but that's the thing he isn't. He is 24 in a couple of months with three full years or pro experience with a half seasons worth of NHL games. He is not some kid, the Kings brought him in (and paid a significant price) to have a capable NHL ready d-man, and he looks lost.

I thought it was a good move by DL, largely because of the lack of development of Forbort the Kings needed someone in that age group who could play and be cheap, but it hasn't worked out.

Inappropriate that the Ducks in-game entertainment are playing Mumpford and Sons.

lmao

I agree , people need to get the idea out of their head that (kid) just means age. McNabb at 24 with his AHL experience should be a pro. Not a guy struggling to look like he belongs on NHL ice.

Same for Andy.

A kid is zykov , or someone like Ebert. Those are kids.

That was a mongoloid of a period. Still lucky to be ahead. Mostly just happy Richards' melon is okay.

He wasn't expected to play in all of them to start. He was supposed to get spot duty. Instead Regher has been injured and Voynov's a tard and he's had to play in every game. Nobody could have predicted our entire second pairing would be shelved 15 games in.

What "Pros" have Buffalo and Carolina developed in the last 10 years? He was brought here to be groomed, not thrown into the fire.

The 2014-2015 LA Kings would like to welcome the 2011-2012 Jonathan Quick back to the NHL. My god, where would this team be without him right now? It's almost like they take him for granted.

That Fasching trade was mostly about those 2 2nd round picks and hoping that McNabb would end up as a bottom pairing guy.. Like I said, I get he's adjusting but there's a reason he wasn't on the Sabres roster last year..

Excellent game so far.

And I gotta say, changing the title to include the score is a really cool idea. Props to Ron, who I'm assuming is responsible.

Not a single Kings management person has said McNabb was brought in to develop him....if so site an article or quote. He was brought in to play NHL hockey.

Its the reason Hudson is no longer a King prospect.

Herby, McNabb is currently paired with Jamie McBain as an actual defensive pairing. He is going to get lit up. By no means does this mean he's a failure yet.

Remember, Jake Muzzin.

From what I've seen this game, I'd keep McBain over McNabb when Regehr comes back.

Muzzin - Doughty
Martinez - Greene
Regehr - McBain

Edit: With that said, Greene has looked like **** all season.
