It does feel like a trap, but I do think the Leafs will win. I think will be closer than most think. 4 or 5 to 3.

Would we want it any other way?
I guess 30 plus other teams wouldn’t do the Leafy thing , soooooooo there are other team choices you know …? Just a thoughtThe Leaf thing to do would be to lose in regulation against this shitty Anaheim team
Sounds like a perfect stormNo Regulation losses in over a month, and Ducks have 1 regulation win all season...wonder how this one ends?
Ducks don’t have teeth and we are the hammerMighty Ducks saved their strength for our Leafs. Backup goalie tonight, Gibson will play tomorrow. It’s not about points for them, just prestige trying to beat the hot team in its own barn. I am sure they will fight tooth and nail.

I wonder how the Ducks will feel when the Leafs light up Gibson tonight. Prime Hasek won't help them with the way the Leafs are playing.Mighty Ducks saved their strength for our Leafs. Considering who's available in the draft, I don't think they really care.I wonder how the Ducks will feel when the Leafs light up Gibson tonight. Prime Hasek won't help them with the way the Leafs are playing.
Wonder how many would have predicted those as the top 5 teams so far this year?

Optimistically, I would have suggested that the Leafs could be on that list... but none of the others.
We were all expecting a Boston regression, with age, and in particular their injuries. New Jersey came out of nowhere, but they also have the second hardest schedule for the balance of the year, having had the easiest schedule so far. Seattle, nobody would have predicted. Pittsburgh, getting older, so they've had a nice run as well.
This is the average rank, of remaining opponents for the year. Habs have the hardest schedule left, based on current rankings, Devils second hardest.

This is a graphic of who has had the hardest schedules so far. Leafs are near the top of hardest schedules.

Boston has had an easy schedule based on the days they’ve played, less back to backs etc, but their quality of opponents have been mid pack.Wait... Boston didnt and WONT have a hard schedule? Easy all the way?
Also, on the flip side the Devils had the easiest schedule so far.
Don't forget that tonight the Bruins are at home against the Islanders and the Devils are at home against the Stars. If we win, we would tie the Devils in points. One back of the broons
