I can't see Ducks keeping both Drysdale and Zellweger. There is probably no better scenario than this. I am amazed that with such a small post injury sample we got Gauthier.

Props to Verbeek for rolling the dice on one of the best offensive prospects out there.

Jamie was already basically a very good 2nd pairing guy. Verbeek must be certain he's gonna keep Gauthier and that he's going to reach his potential.

Gauthier seems like the right KIND of player. But I would not have given up a 2nd in addition.

If Verbeek did not get confirmation that he will sign here, and we lose him for nothing, PV better be in the witness protection program as half of Honda Center with be filled with hostile fans... of course, the other half will be there supporting the visiting team.
