I thought he was getting less shifts even much earlier - all the way back to the first period. Then a bit more toward the end of the 2nd period. His best shift was around 5 min left there so I thought there was nothing.

P.S. I don’t think that mistake was that big. Yeah, he should’ve just keep it simple(r) there to not let a small mistake in execution cause a potential breakaway. That first shift in the 3rd was worse but I don’t understand why Canada’s coaching staff waited to about 15 min to give this pair their first shift.
