If you are interested in a Dan Girardi jersey i would recommend checking out the game used groups on facebook and whatnot. He wore SO many jerseys as a Ranger that it seems like you can always find one for $500 or less in the home/away style.

Out of all the wedding gifts I got, this may be my favourite (although I won't tell my fiancée that haha). Kakko's jerseys from the 2019 Carlson Games in Brno, CZ which I attended at the time. It was the first time I interacted with Kakko for more than just a few seconds, getting to meet him after the game. It was about a month before the draft. We talked about the possibility of him getting drafted by the Rangers.

To add these 2 to my game worn collection is a dream come true.

According to the Hockey Guy's video, the plan is to keep the factory in quebec where the on-ice jerseys are made. The issue is not with the jerseys the players wear. It is the "authentic" and "replicas" that would be made directly by Fanatics. Of course, if the factory in Quebec ups its productions and they sell the real on-ice product, it could help things.

Surprised to read this as I have never had a bad experience with CoolHockey.

He asked for a Kravtsov Rangers jersey and they sent him a Wolfpack sweater

I would be shocked if Fanatics actually sold the on ice jerseys at retail. Heck I would have been shocked if any of the new brands sold the on ice jerseys at retail. These companies don't think the perfectionists move the bottom line and would rather sell more replicas.

Yep, due to both demand and profit margin, the on ice authentics just don’t move the needle.

Someone else on this thread can probably confirm this but I recall when Adidas took over my Fanatics rep mentioned that between the shortage of materials and backorder issues teams across the league were paying through the roof for jerseys at cost that even with a 15-20% markup it wouldn't be worth it.

It's partially that, but also the optics of it. If Fanatics starts selling on-ice (Made in Canada) jerseys, the retail price would be around 500 dollars. No matter how well you explain it, that's a PR nightmare because of how the large majority of fans will see it and it will be called a rip-off and worse.

CCM 550 replicas....... Screen printed ccm logo on the back hem vs stitch CCM logo on the back hem..... When did this change over?
This can vary since the CCM years were a bit wild west in terms of consistency. Best I can tell from experience, the CCM Maska screened hem logos probably last appeared in 1995 before Starter replicas hit the market. The “embroidered” CCM hems started appearing -I want to say- around 1996/97/98. They were usually heat pressed or stitched on to the hem and were sometimes accompanied by a tiny team logo.
Later iterations had the CCM and an orange NHL puck logo instead of the team logo.

As a general rule I go by, if the CCM jersey has this tag on the inside collar:
0691D793-81F4-46DE-B5C0-4E5C9C03BC88.jpeg

The CCM hem will usually be screened:
6C6CDF80-0F0C-4F6D-BF05-CA5424B97169.jpeg

++++++++

If the neck tag is the blue ice rink:
7FDAC4DF-F851-42DC-A6E1-30A5C0C17A46.jpeg

The CCM hem is usually the embroidered CCM with team mini logo:
B156B106-D705-498F-BCF5-3D86F692C845.jpeg

++++++++

If it’s the Black/Blue CCM neck tag:

The CCM hems are usually with an orange NHL puck patch:

No problem!
I will say, what I wrote is not a hard rule since some of the combos overlap and there are some anomalies here and there.

This is just what I’ve generally encountered with all the different replicas over the years of collecting. All the different CCM versions almost needs a decoder key. 😆

Throw in to the mix Rangers whites vs blues vs Liberty alts, collar tie downs vs. v-necks and shoulder stripe/hem patterns over the past 30+ years and it QUICKLY becomes confusing and muddy.

Found this at Modells in 1997 for $40. Played hockey in it ever since.

Gotto go to Mo’s! Wow. Nice pick up nyrmetros! The team colored embroidered CCM hem tag were a nice touch on these. I’m guessing they had some overstock CCM “round” v-neck whites after the Starter switch and decided to make these one-offs? I can’t blame them. Probably would have been the height of Wayne-mania and these would have flown off the shelves.
