Wonder what anyone here knows about TI or GI Adidas Primegreens. Looking for a pair of blue/white up to size 56. I have not seen anything outside of the typical starters up to bid.

Doubt we see anything outside of high end game used Primegreens for a while. The Rangers and most of the other teams get such limited stock that nothing team issued ever squeaks out. I would wager that the pre season jerseys from this year were either old stock thats been repurposed the lasts few seasons, or a set of Primegreens that they plan on holding onto and reusing next year for prospect camp/pre season. Heck last year the didn't even have enough liberty jerseys for everyone and had to strip/re use various ones for call ups throughout the season.

Vegas and Colorado for some reason are the only teams that you regularly see MIC team issued jerseys in market.

To my knowledge nobody can do the 90s CCMs exactly to team specs anymore. Cosby's lost the font specs years ago when they transitioned from MSG to the next location on 31st street according to the old icejerseys forum. Arena wear can certainly letter the jersey and it'll look good but it won't be 100% accurate compared to the old Cosby's done authentic.

If you really want to go crazy Keaner in Winnipeg probably does the best job with 80s/90s/Early 2000s Ranger jerseys. But its a very time consuming and expensive process to send everything all the way to Winnipeg, wait a few weeks/months depending on the workload and then have them come all the way back east.

Back in 2013, I finally was able to get a blank 90's era CCM mesh jersey, and wanted to complete it as a 94' SCF Richter jersey. I had a buddy of mine who had an original Richter jersey from Cosby's back in 94'. I took reference photos, brought the photos into Adobe Illustrator and traced the letters and numbers into vectors. Brought the file on CD to Arena Wear, they popped it in, extracted the files and sent them to the twill printer. Came out unbelievable!

Although back in the 90's, Cosby's trimmed the numbers/letters by hand so they were a little more imperfect/handmade looking. These numbers and letters are more 'perfect' because they were created on a computer and printed/cut on the machine.

But the end result is damn near perfect. A few years later, I ended up finding an original 94' Richter jersey from Cosby's so I might be looking to sell this potentially if anyone is interested.

Looks real good- although is the name too arched? Either way I’m curious about the size.

What size?

What size?

I have many reference photos from the actual on-ice jersey and other ones and depending on who stitched it, there are slight variations in how exaggerated the arch is (also depends on name length as well)

This is a Size 48. Keep in mind, those CCM heavy mesh jerseys from the 90's had lots of variation in the actual size. I would have to measure it width & length for it to be exact.

Ok - Just got the response from Arenawear, but the email is a bit convoluted. Can someone who has done this before help me get my request perfect so I don't mess it up.

From how I understand the below email, it's a $125 flat fee to customize the home jersey + additional for the nameplate & A? & I assume a sew patch is something like if I have a patch I want them to add-on?

I am trying to have my wife's jersey customized with Zibanejad, his #93 and the assistant's A.

NYR two or one color Home or Away $125.00.
Three color Reverse Retro and Liberty jerseys $150.00.
Nameplate only $25.00
Only C’s or A’s $5.00
Sew patch $5.00
Add tax and shipping (we use UPS) If you like include a prepaid return label and we will ship it back to with USPS, FedEx, ect.
We do NOT strip lettering, numbers or nameplates from old jerseys.
If jerseys are worn they must be cleaned before we will work on them.
Send us your jerseys with your contact information and what you want on the jersey and we will contact you when it is finished for payment.
Turnaround time is about 7 to 10 working days depending what is going on in the shop.

It would be $125 for the name and number on the back, nameplate included. $5 for the A on the front so $130 total on that front.

In terms of patches if you have a patch you want to include on the jersey they charge $5 to sew it on. For example if you have a Gilbert or Hank night patch you'd include them in the box when you send it off and they'll slap them on for you. They do NOT sell patches you must provide them yourself.

I will be taking CoolHockey to court! Scumbag company

Since you just don't seem to get it, I'll put it frankly. This is a serious overreaction, and you are embarrassing yourself. I'm sure everyone at one time or another has dealt with a company for a product they ordered that had similar issues. Taking a company to court over a lower-case e instead of capital E on a jersey is crazy. The judge would laugh if it somehow ever got to their desk. You can probably sell the jersey on ebay and get back most of your money but instead you've let something completely stress you out for, from what I can tell, is more than a year.

Second, you have completely hijacked this thread for people trying to find substantive information on here. It was a major pain in the ass for me to sift through your year+ of complaints to try to find the info I needed. Your initial complaint was valid and it is always important for consumers to hear feedback, but at this point you have multiple posts on every page and continue to tell us that you're going to take a small business to court over an extremely minor f***-up.

For your own well-being move on.

Did you read the original post that included the emails? It’s almost comical how bad it was, they also charged me $40 for next day shipping and it took months! And they won’t refund that either. complete fraud. And they specifically said in the email that they always use the small E. I have emailed them, called them over 10 times, left many messages and they ignore me. That is fraudulent and corrupt, don’t you think? I’m more angry at them for seemingly blocking and ignoring me than for the original mistake. Businesses screw up all the time, but very few will purposely ignore a customers emails phone calls and messages to avoid refunding them. They are scam artists and I’m far from the only person who experienced this with them. I will let it go and just updated the thread when I sue the pants off them and win, sorry for hijacking the thread though but they made me really angry!

I appreciate your response. I do think their behavior is wrong. However, I also think, like many small businesses, they have probably struggled over the past few years learning to navigate in a pandemic.

At the end of the day, this isn't what life should be about. And while I realize a couple hundred bucks is not nothing, I also don't think getting involved in potentially expensive litigation for such a minor issue is the right way to go about it for your own well-being.

That being said, this is your decision and I hope it's ultimately resolved properly. If not, I would just recommend throwing the jersey on Ebay where you can probably find someone who is willing to pay something for it and just take the loss. If it helps, we've all been in a similar position at some point.

Thoughts..... Have a white 1996? CCM replica jersey that has LaFontaine 16 with heat press vinyl lettering..... No chance of fixing it 20+ years later ehh?

Yeah I don’t think that’s an easy one. If the letters and numbers were twill it might be doable but admittedly I’m not an expert with jersey stripping.

Aren't you gonna just lose more money that way though with the legal fees

I assume you've tried disputing the charge and transaction with your card/bank?

I would keep blowing up their reviews on every possible website. Google, Yelp, Facebook, and business review sites

And their customers haven't? They made a pretty big mistake and need to right it. Litigation is a bit overboard but they need to right their wrong...

@EdJovanovski do you have a picture of what they did to your jersey? This thread is massive lol

Yea, I'd definitely post a pic on there and blow them up with your own thread. These reddit guys are like sharks and will just go HAM on your post since it seems many of them have had similar issues and want to savage CH.

I'd try and ping them again after you post on reddit too. It looks like that guy had some text service or whatsapp or something, so maybe that's an option?
