Washington, DC.
I'm a Nats fan these days, so very much in favor of a hard cap and spending floor, and I get why people find the Yankees obnoxious, but since I never had any attachment to the Braves, watching the Yankees when I was in upstate NY for college was the first time I had ever really got at all invested in baseball. So I still pull for them when I'm watching unless they're playing the Nats.

Also, I got to see Stanton play a few times when he came through Greensboro in A ball. So watching his run right now (just hit a big 3 run shot!) is pretty fun.

Nats are my NL “bandwagon” team since I’ve been in DC. Not a huge fan but I love going to the games. Plus one of my happy memories was watching them win the world series (on tv) with my nephew (who is a Nats fan).

Haven't followed baseball for a long time and I don't like either team. Having said that, I like the match up. Two old school teams, east vs. west, best regular season record in each league, Ohtani vs. Judge, significant star power beyond those two on each team. Oh, and I guess they each have pitchers, as well, lol?
It’s legitimately awesome for baseball. Just horrible for my sanity.

Don't have much to say about the game other than its nice to see NY fans suffering the pain of a massive Game 5 choke.

That said, I do want to comment on the bullshit that was the NY media parading around the guys who f***ed with Mookie Betts the other night. What they did was straight up not cool, and Mookie was lucky he wasn't hurt in what was essentially an attack. It was appalling that they weren't both immediately banned from the stadium for the rest of the series, only done so when MLB had to step in and force the Yankees hands. And its even worse to see the likes of Barstool and, far more shockingly ESPN put out puff pieces about their experience as if they were some positive influence on the game.

Having seen the Canes play the Rangers the last couple years, we damn well know that if the roles were reversed and it was another team's fans touching a Yankee, its a national outrage and you're getting those same news outlets pressuring law enforcement into issuing criminal charges. But because its a couple guys from NY, that just shows how passionate they are.

f*** them, glad they lost. Hope they enjoyed the choke.

always good when the yankees lose. only time that isn't true is when they play boston, and i pull for the earth to open up beneath them.

my takeaway from the series is to continue to hate the 2-3-2 format. i guess mlb can see the extra game revenue to the loser of a 5 game series as the runner up trophy.
