The sheer skill on display at the 1988 all star game hooked me into watching hockey.

Mock it if you want, but the all star game used to be a fantastic way to get non hockey people to actually watch a game and get interested.

Yeah I agree that all stars used to be fun to watch. Now it has just become crappier and crappier very year and more cringy. I still remember Danny Heatley scoring 4 or 5 goals in the all star games

Turns out when the back of one jersey is white and the front of the other jersey is white, it gets confusing when all the players on the ice appear to be wearing white.
