I don't think it means much.

A bruised foot can hurt in the short-term. It can be a pain to skate with that.

Unless the bruise is immensely huge, it should be fine in 4 days for the first game.

I'll be shocked if he isn't in the lineup because of the foot.

JVR is a lock for this team and Carlyle has told him to sit until his foot feels well enough to put a boot on pain free. He wants him set for Saturday, but he'll also go for another scan to make sure nothing has been missed and it is just a deep bruise.

Colton Orr is not a lock for this team and doesn't have the luxury of sitting out a single day of training camp.

If Kadri doesnt make the team i think hes gone in a trade before the deadline.
Yeah and he'll hold some really good value...

I find it so stupid that we're going to go in with Mac/Connolly/Lombardi/Bozak in bigger roles than the people who will inevitably replace them next year. Quit messing around and make the moves now. We suck, it's a good draft and we need to start developing young players.

Kessel back, Komisarek leaving.

Jeez this team is dropping like flies with injuries, hopefully thats the last of them.

Mark Masters‏@markhmasters

JVR (bruised foot) not taking part in Leafs scrimmage, but Colton Orr (dislocated finger) is

interesting, it might be worse than we thought

Probably more to do with JVR needing to stay off it so he's ready for Saturday while Orr needs to play as much as possible in hopes of making the Team.

Michael Grange ‏@michaelgrange

Kadri gets first goal of intrasquad; Komisarek leaves with hand/wrist problem ... Oh! And Cody Franson scores, 2-0 Blue.

Michael Traikos ‏@Michael_Traikos

Sign him up. Kadri scores 2nd of 1st period.

David Alter ‏@DavidAlter590

It's just a scrimmage, but Kadri has 2 of team blue's 3 goals.

Paul Hendrick ‏@HennyTweets

Kadri scores again from the high slot and beats reimer on a deflection. 3-0 blue. #leafs

Turning some heads the little one.

Why would we keep Kadri over Lombardi and Connolly though? He's not ready and the other guys are better.

Lol @ this theory

Looks like 2 of the 3 goals were deflected, to be fair.

Nobody here is watching so it's hard to judge how Reimer is actually playing.
