Sounds like it’s mutual that Mrazek wants to play here and Rod and company likes him still. I guess it’s term.
Or we can just let them battle it out and the best man wins. If Mrazek isn’t given the net after all he’s done there’s no reason Ned should be given it either.
Term, and whether Mrazek can get starter money while we'd want to pay him platoon money.Sounds like it’s mutual that Mrazek wants to play here and Rod and company likes him still. I guess it’s term.

Svech:80Whos going to put up more points next season... Necas or Svechnikov
And cats over 50 lbs are… Dogs? Bears?
if you see a cat over 50 lbs you are likely dead. so it doesnt matter.
He is capable of PPG. Give him a full season after struggling. I bet he comes back big.Oh wow 80 for Svech?? That would be unreal
Svech:80
Necas: 65
I can see that happeningI'll take Necas actually here....71 to 68. simply because I dont think Rod is committed to playing Svech with Aho/Turbo a full season. I also think Necas is playing with either Trocheck or .....Eichel? lol.

I wasn’t a part of the Svech vs Necas discussion. But what kind of beverage wager are we talking?if you care to place a friendly beverage wager on it I am in. You better hope Svech loses the GF in the summer if you want optimal performance.
I expect a great season from Svech.Svech:80
Necas: 65
It'll be interesting to see how his market shakes out since the league in general still seems a bit down on him. Assuming Grubauer stays in Colorado, I suppose it's either him or Andersen as the top free agent goalies. Edmonton is the main team that's been linked to him over the past couple years, but I could see Toronto, Chicago, or even Pittsburgh as potential landing spots.
If he goes the 1-year deal route I think he goes to Edmonton or Toronto where he has a clearer path to starting than he does with Ned in his way here. But I still think a team will give him a 3-year deal like the Talbot contract from last year.
From the RBA 4th line entry system? No way.Jarvis !
I’ve been saying for a while that it will be James as the number two (assuming he wasn’t insulted by being the 3rd at the end of the season). He played well all year long, was our #1a for half the season until the staff became comfortable with Ned in that role, and probably won’t have the demand in the rest of the league to demand a raise (or maybe even his current salary). That should keep or costs in goal stable for another year or two.I expect the Canes to pick either Mrazek or Reimer to extend, probably the former, to around a 2-3 year deal. Reimer actually wouldn't be a bad choice, either, if they truly think Ned can be a full-time starter for a whole year. He certainly would be more cap-friendly.
