Geezerville

He had an assist in his first game back and now a goal in his second game. I watched the 2nd and 3rd periods and he played his usual very good 200' game - backchecking and disrupting plays in the d-zone. He came within about an inch away from scoring a shorthanded goal too.

Would love to see Moore hit his ceiling as a Ryan Kesler type. 40-50 points with Selke caliber defense most years.

I have Moore as a middle six guy who can PK and is good at forechecking. He's on that trajectory, but still up in the air if he's a center in the future or a winger.

Don't write off the Hawks 2022 Draft 2002 Born Forwards [both third go around selections] - Dominic James and Aidan Thompson.

Nice to see James back healthy after missing basically a whole season. Both have great production to start the season

Really? That's your takeaway from my post? To default to something he did once in a 15 year career... and not only that, but he never even scored 30 or more in any other season.

Have a nice Sunday.
I thought Kesler was better than he actually was. I had to look him up.

Somewhere between Kesler and Cogliano is probably where Moore will end up.

Keslers peak season would be equivalent to like a 50 goal 90point season today, that guy could go toe to toe with peak Toews

Moore really doesn’t seem to be that guy offense doesn’t come super natural to him

He only did that for 2 seasons when the Canucks were really good.

Moore has five points in six games. Hardly panic territory.

I watched the last 2 games and Moore didn't flash as much as I hoped he would but he still played well and was in the mix. A couple possible extenuating circumstances is that Minnie is so deep that they roll 4 lines so his TOI is probably a bit reduced than it was last season - AND - Jimmy Snugurrude is having a slow start too so Oliver isn't picking up assists from Jimmy's scoring.

I'm not a he, ok.

Yeah, I had a bad weekend. and I made some shit posts I can't take back.

I'm sorry, I haven't done that shit in a while.

Stop apologizing for your bad takes and just own up to them.

Also, you don’t have to post every time you have an opinion.
I own the Hagel one. I laugh at myself for it a lot. I do know that if CB ends up exploding in the next few years I'm going to look pretty dumb.

Kesler was a dog. A lotta respect for that guy. He was Bergeron and Toews level for a good bit of time.

On Moore. Still chalking this up to slow starter syndrome. It’s not the production that bothers me, it’s his lack of… being in the middle of stuff happening. He’s not going to not produce in college, likely wakes up around WJC time. But I’m not seeing a play driver, I’m seeing an “elite level” middle 6 winger. And the cogliano comparisons are and have been bang on. Which I think some people think of as an insult, but that’s a pretty sweet floor.
