Yeah, there is a low chance of success, but you should know there is a low rate of success and just swing for some extremely talented person on the lower end of the age pool and hope they surprise you. Taking a 20 year old overager is like taking a low chance and making it even lower.

In game 4 of the 5 game series with Shawinnigan,Quebec Ramparts lst 3-2in OT last night...Louis Crevier added another assist to his playoff totals and finished tge game at Even in plus/minus...

Game 5 goes Wednesday evening in Quebec City with the winning team advanci g to the QMJHL Final which will be best of 7..

Here is hoping Crevier and his Quebec Ramparts team can win and advance.
 
anyone have an opinion on chicago's current top 10 prospect list? chatter going on here:

Your Team's Top 10 Prospects

They've both played less than 35 NHL games. What's your cutoff? If the players are already lineup locks then they're not prospects. Certainly not if they're your best players. I understand calling a guy a prospect if he is still in and out of the lineup.

As for the WHL Final....JaylenLuyoen and Edmonton advanced to this series by beating Winnipeg 4 games to 1 in theircsemi-final....

They await the winner of tonight's Game 7 between Seattle and Kamloops ...that series tied 3-3 so this game winning team will advance to pkay Edmonton i tge Final for thecWHL Championship.

The battle between Crevier and Dallas' 2020 first round pick Mavrik Bourque is epic in this series.

Surprisingly Connor McClennon will not be signed by Philly.

Not saying he's a stud by any means, but certainly worth the ELC. Lehigh Valley isn't exactly swimming with good forward prospects.

He'll re-enter the draft. I wonder if someone picks him up in the mid/late rounds.
 
End of the line for Crevier this sesson ...His Quebec Ramparts lost Game 5 of the best of 5 QMJHL semi -final series with Shawinigan tonight by a 5-3 score... The Shawinigan last goal was empty net with Quebec pulling their goalie ...so close game... close series..but Quebec loses at home in this elimination game and Shawinigan upsetscthem to advance.

Louis Crevier added 1 more ssist to his pkayoff total(it was a tertiary assistvon a short handed goal ) ...he was -1in this game .

Yet he was named 3rd star of the game tonight.

This leaves only 1 Hawks draftee still playing hockey this season...Jaylen Luypen with Edmonton of the WHL .
 
So Louis Crevier ends his pkayoffs with thiscstat line:

12GP 4 g 6a = 10 pts and +7
 
One of the reasons Quebec lost the series to Shawinigan was that their biggest star ZacharycBokduc was held to only 1 point (1goal) in the5 games.. Hevisxa centre .

Hawks dman draftee (signed) Louis Crevier did his part as he had 1 g 3 a in the 5 game series...but the explosive Quebec offense from several of its top line forwards did not materialize as it had in tgec2voriorvplayoff series.
 
WHL Championship series between Oil Kings and Thunderbirds is now tied 1-1.

Jalen Luypen's Oil Kings won today 6-5. He had at least 1 assist that I saw!

Sees PP and PK time. Had a blocked shot on the PK that stung him, but he got up and cleared the puck.

Prokop is a star tonight. Others did well too, but paled in comparisonwith him.
