thing about Osprey is that WWE will expect the work rate to come or he'll quickly find himself in the mid card like AJ did

Not sure if they're planning on the football or baseball stadium. Guardians are at home August 9-11 and August 16-18. I forgot that the recent Summerslams have been earlier in the calendar that I'm used to (mid-late August).

I think you might be looking at this years schedule maybe?

ESPN.com has the Guardians @Twins Aug 9-11 and @Brewers & Yankees Aug 16-22 for 2024

Me no read good. That's what I get for trying to post that info while on a soul crushing work call.

Correction: Guardians home August 2-4. Browns might have a preseason home game to dodge as well. Football stadium has more capacity, so that might be the preferred landing spot?

I have oddly fond memories of a work trip to Cleveland. On Monday I snuck out for Raw which was the go home episode for that year's Royal Rumble. Tuesday I saw a Cavs game when LeBron was still there. Wednesday I went to an AHL game and got a jersey autographed by John Madden who was their head coach at the time.

Cleveland is still on my list of MLB parks to scratch off. Maybe if it works out, I could do Summerslam and get in a baseball game.

It probably will never happen, but I think WWE or even AEW would get some mileage doing a show at Wrigley.

Apparently Kairi Sane has now officially been added back to WWE's internal roster but not to a brand yet.

PWInsider's sources first said she wasn't when the rumor popped up this morning, but those same sources say that she is now on the internal roster as of this afternoon.

I love it when talk about the internal roster is used since it makes it sound like it’s any different than being under contract.

Fox CEO talked about why they didn't renew Smackdown.

Pretty much blamed it on not getting enough ad dollars because wrestling fans don't buy anything.

To me would signal they aren't interested in more wrestling outside of getting rights at bargain

Also mentioned WWE wasn't happy with the money they were getting on replays either so possibly both sides were happy to move on
