Vancouver is quickly becoming the laughing stock of the NHL. They can't actually be riding Lack as there #1 can thay?

I'm sure they are going to get Markstrom back, though he has struggled, but all prospects struggle in Florida...

****ing hack is already back peddling.

@Eklund: my source tells me Williams may survive the deadline but will be moved by the draft

And even then...with the cap going up...I'm wondering, at least today not knowing who the Kings are interested in as far as off season goes, why the Kings would do that.

I'd be STUNNED if he's moved today or tomorrow. Unless a team built for the playoffs is getting an even more proven playoff performer than Williams who's younger and even then only if it requires Williams' cap space to do that deal.

That's the only scenario I see and if it was available..my guess is it already would have happened.

They might as well deal the Sedins in the offseason while teams have a bunch of cap space if they are dealing away Luongo, Kesler, and Edler.

That happened when they hired that nutbag coach. It had no chance of working...ever.

I'm sure Tim Thomas will be dealt now.

Wow, they traded Luongo for Markstrom + Mathias and Vancouver retained some of Luongo's salary... They really should have kept Schneider...

If Gillis is making these kind of deals then perhaps we should be talking to them about Kesler. He's pretty cheap with retained salary.

Williams was never going anywhere, it was only hack/out to lunch bloggers who were saying he was.

There is no scenario that made sense for Williams to get moved.

You don't trade guys like Williams.

Sounds like Vancouver is retaining 15% of Luongo's salary for the next 8 years.... lol.

Vancouver was in a tough spot, Luongo was only going to Florida and his contract is horrendous.

Now they were only in a tough spot because they stupidly moved Schneider at the draft, although mo guarantee Florida would have done this trade at the draft, Markstrom's stock is in the toilet right now.

Vancouver just butchered their goaltending situation though, from the awful Luongo extension, to the Schneider trade to this.

I think you have to figure Kesler is next.

Not sold on Lack either, the guy fell apart agasint Ottawa when the stakes got high.
