After this one I'm not sure what else they can do and consider it retro.

I really like this template though, I'd like to see it with the main body black with red/white stripes.

Could do the Scouts one, or you have to try a different kind of Christmas tree jersey combo.

I do agree the striping should be brought over. I really dig the shoulders.

I don’t mind our RR’s . I have been hoping for a nice mainly black jersey for a long time now Amd was originally disappointed in the Jersey jersey but it has grown on me.
Im hoping for something like this eventually

i think the closest we've seen to this was the kings "burger king" jerseys from a while back....and the ducks "wild wing" ones.

edit: ill add vancouver's V jerseys and the avs staduim series bib ones to the list

The 90s were truly a golden age of wonderfully bold, terrible jerseys. The Tampa RR celebrates that in all it’s glory.

We’ll never see anything like that, no one is like “let’s give the Islanders, Capitals, etc completely new jerseys* unconnected to any pre-existing one”.

That’s why I get such a kick out of the fishstick jerseys. Their last Cup was only 13 years before and they had the balls to completely re-imagine that jersey. With a fisherman, lighthouse, waves, etc lol. With zero nostalgia, which drives most jersey designs now. No one would have the guts to that, teams are too sensitive to fan opinion now. There’s a goofy innocence to it.

*my phone has never fought me harder than when I tried to write “new jersey” without capitalizing it. Calm the f*** down spell check.

I don't like blue in general, the other team I hate the most in sports, nycfc is blue as well. I've just never liked the color. It's why I barely own any team usa soccer jerseys too cause they always put out too many blue jerseys.

I just want you to know I love irrational pet peeves so I’m here for your blood feud with the color blue.

It's kind of hilarious to me how weird people's relationships with jersey colors can be in the NYC/NJ area, just because of the sheer amount of teams and color combinations we have here.

Like, my brother is a Mets/Devils/Jets fan...so he'll wear blue, green, and red, and outside of each team having at least a black alternate jersey there's really no consistency there. Then you've got people who cheer, say, the Yankees and Knicks or whatever, and again it just completely shifts color schemes. Only consistency in the market is if you're a Mets/Isles/Knicks fan, thanks to the NY flag colors, and I guess Rangers/Giants, too, and the Devils and Red Bulls kind of flow together a bit, too.

Certainly not a Pittsburgh situation, is it?

Devils and Red Bulls is all I care about and both of their main colors are red. I don't watch baseball, basketball or football.

I've always liked cities that have teams that wear the same colors, I feel it unites the city more. Seattle has all 4 of their teams, nhl, nfl, mls, and mlb with similar color schemes. Philly is another one that is really all over the place with their colors.

It's a good thing the Seattle SuperSonics had an idiotic owner who moved the team.

We'll just ignore the Huskies' purple and gold scheme.

For some reason, I actually think the current white jerseys look pretty good since the redesign, but the home reds don't work as well without the bottom striping. Might be that just having the NJ logo alone on a white surface works as a contrast in a way it doesn't when it's just on a solid red background or something, but yeah, I'd be willing to buy a current away jersey but wouldn't be as keen on a home one.

They also slightly changed the shape of the logo and narrowed/elongated the name and number font on the current home and away jerseys. Just looks childish.

They have bottom striping. That's the only positive.

Current unis look like pyjamas to me. Hopefully the new supplier brings back our stripes.
Hoping we go through the Sharks phase.

They had lovely stripes

They got rid of the lovely stripes

They brought back the lovely stripes

This. The aways are cleaner without the stripes. The reds are a travesty and needs the stripes.

I think my favorite thing about the original Mighty Ducks movie was Adam Banks' dad cheering for the Hawks even though his kid was playing for the Ducks. I was really hoping Brendan Morrison would be decked out in Michigan gear cheering against his kid last year.

Saw this one twitter...

Colors definitely getting that BK vibe...

To be honest, my main problem with this jersey is the color choices/pallette. The actual template (logo, layout, stripes, etc) is nice, as was mentioned earlier. But the color combo really puts it in the off category for me

Ya I really dislike the colours but I don’t mind it overall because it’s so different than all our other jerseys ( colour) . Might get one but not sure yet .
I want to get a pro model Hughes autographed one from Fanatics but might wait for Bratt to sign for8 years first hen get his lol .
Or maybe wait and get a Luke Hughes … or Nemec … hmmm … not sure
