To be honest, my main problem with this jersey is the color choices/pallette. The actual template (logo, layout, stripes, etc) is nice, as was mentioned earlier. But the color combo really puts it in the off category for me

it is cool but when are they ever going to see it pregame intros in the playoffs? imo they should've embraced the neon aspect of it then and did the lettering to look like neon lights from vegas past. easier said then done i know.

i really like the habs is there any history with that color scheme and them? i saw someone mention the expos?

gotta admit the flyers are sneaky nice would be really nice if they wore the pants again with them that would look really cool.

This was mentioned a few pages ago, but the striping on the jersey is similar to the striping on the Devils' 1982-92 jerseys. (More specifically relative to the Devils' 1982-92 home white jerseys, the red stays red, the white becomes yellow, and the green becomes blue.) So basically these new reverse retros acknowledge the franchise's transition from the Colorado Rockies (shown in the color scheme) to the New Jersey Devils (shown in the jersey striping).

I don't like blue in general, the other team I hate the most in sports, nycfc is blue as well. I've just never liked the color. It's why I barely own any team usa soccer jerseys too cause they always put out too many blue jerseys.

That’s as good a reason as may to not like the new one. I just don’t want fans who might like it to deny themselves the jersey because of some fear the NYR somehow have dibs on the color.
