well I hope its the Kreider who's been performing in the AHL recently. I gotta admit I wanted him back up so I'm happy.

Kreider has been playing well. Skating better and working hard. Not looking as timid. Hopefully it translates.

Sorry to see Haley go, thought he played well.

Not too happy about Haley going back down. He's way better than Stu in the tough guy role.

I liked Haley during his stint here. With five centers currently in the lineup, I wouldn't mind seeing Boyle as a healthy scratch and Haley playing on the fourth line in the future.

Hoping Tortorella will actually give Kreider the chance to gain some confidence and not bench him after his first mistake.

I love that Kreider gets called back up although i hate that Haley got sent down since he was playing well... why couldnt they send down Bickel.. its not like anyone would claim him :shakehead

i hope Haley doesnt have to go through waivers. i can see the Islanders claiming him if he has to..

Hopefully this means they'll sit Pyatt for a game or two when Asham gets back. Pyatt hasn't looked very good offensively the past few weeks.

I liked Haley, and would prefer not to play with the Kreider yoyo again, but if he can play like he's played in the A, it'll be a massive help.

Don't hold your breath. CK makes one mistake, rides the bench the rest of the game. Meanwhile JT isn't producing anything and is a turnover machine.

He doesn't have to go through waivers. He's on a 2-way this year.

As much as i'm not obsessed with this move, we can all agree, our bottom 6 needs some more scoring prowess. they are dead weight at the moment.

don't go against the hivemind! JT Miller can do no wrong, don't you listen to Sam and Joe every game?

Miller should have been back in the AHL weeks ago.

I thought Boyle looked pretty good last night. Sharper and quicker and more aggressive than he has been for much of the year. Then again that has been the problem with Boyle, he hasn't been able to consistently keep up that play.

At any rate, you have to imagine it's him or Pyatt to the fourth line because it doesn't make sense to call up Kreider to play on the 4th line

I'd be more comfortable with:

Kreider - Boyle - Miller
Pyatt - Halpern - Powe

than:

Kreider - Miller - Pyatt
Boyle - Halpern - Powe

Miller is still aggressive and trying to make things happen. His mistakes are a result of trying to do too much. I think Torts has an easier time dealing with that than guys that are passive and indecisive, which is how Kreider looked to me during his stint in the NHL this year. If Kreider keeps skating hard and making things happen like he had been doing recently in Hartford, I think Torts will give him more of a leash, like he has with Miller.

I think Miller plays well enough to stay up here. Sucks that his "scoring" line-mates couldn't nab a date in a women's prison with a carton of cigarettes.

Hesitant on CK coming up as I don't like this yo-yo thing going on.

would much rather have haley in the press box than stu but whatever, hopefully kreiders ready to play and torts is ready to let him play, if hes not playing more than 10 minutes a night in an offensive role this is a dumb move.

Haley NEEDS to be on this team...what the heck is wrong with our coaching staff ??? We are TOO soft !!! Haley can skate , hit and agitate and probably would have potted a couple eventually . Geesh...I hate Torts more and more every game and I lump Sather into that too .

I do like Kreider...I agree with that move...but for the sake of God...let the kid play and take his lumps and learn from them . Haley would have been a perfect guy to help this kid on the ice and he could skate with CK better than 3-4 other of our 3/4 line guys can and he would have popped Orpik on that hit without any thought given .

I liked Haley and I thought he had a place on the team but from a scoring standpoint, it's alright, I suppose. As for Haley potting a few, I doubt that. He ain't exactly a goal scorer.
